Thank you. This video format is organized, the speaker is clear and not all over the place. This has been very helpful. I also really like the craft unit in the background.
Very informative video from an obviously knowledgeable person. I learned what I needed to without being bored. Kelly is by far the best presenter on any Silhouette video. Thanks!
This is the only video I watched until finished! It’s very informative. Very helpful. I watched a lot of videos but didn’t end up finishing them specially the one with very long videos of so much talking and not explaining every details. Thank you! I will stick to your videos. I hope to see new videos especially sublimation.
Of so many videos that I've seen, none like this so well explained in all its details. Excellent tutorial.Today I learned what I did not know since I have my cameo 3 almost a year. My English is not very good but I understand 100% just seeing the processes.I am from Puerto Rico and I will subscribe.
Oh Hi I have just watched your amazing video. I don't know how many I have watched but none were as detailed and so easy to follow as yours. I have had my Cameo for a few years now and not used it much as all seemed so daunting. You have opened up a whole new world so THAN YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You have no idea how much this means to me. Big giant hugs
Using this tutorial, I was able to successfully iron on and layer a saying on a T-shirt. Thank you so much for such clear directions! Excellent teaching, Kelly!
Thank you so much for all the lessons. I want to buy a silhouette but was s little worried about learning how to use it. You have the best lessons of any on here. You are so precise and easy to follow. I will be purchasing a silhouette thanks to you!
your the best video that I've seen on here, everybody else goes too fast or don't explain everything like you do I guess I'm just a hard learner but I'm missing on the measurement's step before you got to the rectangle part sorry but I've had 6 back surgeries and so I'm trying to have something to do at home, so I won't be so bored. I don't know if it's the pain that's not letting me get it or what but I really need help please thank you so much.
Oh my goodness! Not even silhouette themselves explained the various process as well as you have, thank you! Btw, first cut was backward...that's how I found you, to correct my mistake, lol.
Kelly, you are a true teacher...so thorough and so clearly explained! I'm late to this heat transfer game, but I'm going to try making Christmas t-shirts!
OMG!!! what a great video. It was very informative and I loved the step by step explanations. I was feeling overwhelmed at first with all the different videos yet this one made me have hope. Thank you very much :)
I just bought my cameo 4 bundle on Amazon and I went to Hobby Lobby and got Iron On vinyl by Paper Studio for $7( half off) to practice with! Can’t wait to get it in a few days and practice to decorate masks with!
Best Video yet, very easy details to understand and learn! I love making heat transfer shirts and this was so helpful! Thank you, you are a great teacher! I will definitely subscribe, I've never done that before : )
Hi.. great video and it answered all my question. Just one suggestion... please consider adding time stamps in the description or in the comments. 😊 thank you so much again. This lady is great.
Thank you so much for sharing. You have taught me so much!! I was able to cut n print a few designs due to your thorough videos. I have all these supplies and equipment...that makes it easy to follow you step by step since I can use my machine and watch you at the same time. I was looking for the glitter vinyl make up bag instructions as the bag is shown in the thumbnail and did not see that video?
I too have tried this doing this procedure to NO avail. I thank you very much for your informative and easy to follow video. I truly look forward to watching and learning from you!!!! I haven't had a chance to actually look at anything else you do so please forgive me if it's already out there. Do you have anything on using your registration marks?
@@kamerynk6064 I would wash it as normal but place it in a pillowcase or garment washing bag. I've put HTV on face masks and it has held up just fine. Just avoid applying very much to the mouth and nose area so you don't make it too hard to breathe.
Hello this is a great video, I really appreciate the slow pace and step by step. One question, what do you call the clear sticky paper that you transfer the design on to to be able to place it on the t-shirt? Exactly what kind are you using because if its heat transfer tape, the one i have doesn't look like that. Mine came on a roll, yours seems more durable. Also, it is reusable or once you use some of it for one design you have to throw it away?
The heat transfer in this video comes with its own sticky backing that's already applied to the material. It's Silhouette brand. You can throw it away after you use it because all Silhouette heat transfer has it already applied. It's not the same thing as transfer tape, which is for use with adhesive-backed vinyl. If you are using a brand of heat transfer that requires a separate heat transfer tape to be applied, you'll need to follow that manufacturer's instructions.
Great tutorial, Do you have any tutorials to teach you how to cut the titles that are sold in silhouette store like Kate’s cuttables that have all these different colors and layers because when you put them on the mat they’re all transfer transparent and is very difficult to figure out which pieces which it, it would be helpful if you can have the original color image next to the mat as a reference
For those transparent designs with lots of pieces, I usually take a screenshot of the library thumbnail image and then paste it onto my design page as a reference.
I have another brand of machine..I only wanted to know about what to use to iron on to project ...i didn't think you just iron right on the iron on vinyl...thanks for answering my question
Hello i have a silhouette cameo 3 and i just did a T shirt and i used the cricut vinyl i have a professional heat press do you know how long i should press it and would you know the temperature? thank you i also subscribed with you......
This was super informative, just what I needed to see. Which model of Silhouette is suggested ? Once transfered how long does it last? Thanks you very much!
The Portrait and CAMEO are both excellent for cutting heat transfer. I prefer the CAMEO because I can cut larger designs if I want to. The heat transfer can last years if it's applied well with appropriate heat and pressure, and if you're not too rough on the clothes when wearing or washing.
Thank you, this tutorial video is amazing. Out of all the tutorials this was the best . I have one question... when using the heat transfer printable paper what type of printer are you using- inkjet or laser? When I print on regular paper with the laser printer I get errors. my cameo has problems reading the registration mark. Is this common when using the laser print?
Nearly all the printable materials from Silhouette (including printable heat transfer) are intended to be used with inkjet printers. I haven't tried a laser printer with them and it's possible they are not compatible. Please reach out to Silhouette Support if you have more questions on products. www.silhouetteamerica.com/contact
You can purchase the Silhouette Cameo 4 here. www.silhouetteamerica.com/shop/machines (I used the Cameo 3 in this video, but it has been replaced with the Cameo 4 and cuts heat transfer in the same way.)
Weed lines are optional, but they help when removing the unnecessary material so you're not dealing with large pieces that get in the way. Breaking up the excess material with weed lines just makes weeding more manageable.
Super helpful video! I have a question about 45 minutes into the video. Was a printer 🖨 - if so what kind- used to print the flower and bike before using the cameo or was the cameo able to print colors??
I usually use parchment paper, which you can find with baking supplies in stores. The cloth I used is a Gerber flat cloth diaper from the baby aisle at Walmart. :)
