Fretless bass! Best sounding tone for bass in my opinion since I heard Steve degeorgio do it with death in 90

Why does it sound like all of the mid frequencies got nuked? Great cover but the audio is hard to hear!

It's called the 2000 era death metal tone. Felt more than heard

Why does it sound like mids got nuked? Because they were nuked, they don’t exist. We have a bass doubling everything the guitar is playing and therefore we have highs and lows but as you noticed, the kids are sadly missing in action. My question is what is the point of the bass guitar in this kind of music? Almost note for note, the bass is playing what the guitar does, they could have just as easily used an octave pedal or similar to double the guitar and who’d notice much of a difference? Not as if the bass can actually be heard, even the drums seem to provide more of the bottom end than the bass does. And that’s just sad.

@@aaronperelmuter8433did you even listen to the video? the bassline is entirely different from the guitars.. and the studio recording you can't hear the bass? it's mixed just as loud as the guitars, open your ears lol

great playing. just a tip for naming your video. A playthrough means your wrote it and are playting through it. This is a cover my guy. Bass cover
