I'd give temu a wide berth, there was a very informative documentary about their practices and how dangerous their things are because they're not regulated so have lots of dangerous chemicals and compounds in them, far higher than is safe. My Auntie ordered from Temu, she had her cards hacked into with her details to address and phone number accessed. They had bought loads of things she didn't buy, messages saying thanks for the purchase from random phone numbers. Do NOT trust Temu. This is no hate towards Gaby, brill video, just a little heads up for everyone who decides to use Temu.

Must confess I am not tempted to try Temu, never heard anything good yet. Do agree the jewellery box was a decent buy though, perfect for holidays! Very interesting to see the whole process.
I buy quite a lot from Temu. Small things like socks, panties, nightgowns, several winter sweaters, poop bags, office stuff, etc. If you can’t scroll to other colors it’s because those colors are no longer available. However, you may find the same item possibly for less if you scroll along and look for it. You have to read the descriptions carefully including the fabric and the sizing. The towel with spikes is a pretty clever idea but not what you expected. The air fryer bags actually work well. I’ve bought handbags and wallets and they are great.

Well ive brough a few things including a tent which i used as a utility tent for cooking when camping and it was absolutey fine and done the job i needed it for.
Would love to see you do a £10 charity shop challenge Gaby! Gt. Yarmouth has several really good charity shops with affordable prices. My daughter volunteers for several charities...really good causes, including a children's charity & homeless. Amazing things to discover there. Love that Casper got involved with the shopping on line...bless his cotton socks (hope you didn't get them from Temu though!!!). Never used Temu, & thanks for showing us, as I think it's probably not for me anyway! x J x
I've been using temu for a year this may, firstly there's a min spend of £10 but if you go onto the help bott they will turn it off for you, I have had a pr of shoes, 5 tee-shirts, cushion covers, spirograph, brass ornaments all for free! If you add something you want to your basket and tick it to look like your likely to order soon, they start giving you vouchers off it down to a penny, and if anything is reduced up to a month after the order arrives you can get credit back. I've not had any problems and my daughters have whole new wardrobes and boots that were ridiculously priced with savings of £60+
I bought some of those air fryer liners from Temu ….because of the price……….everything sticks to them, they are not non stick !!! So I am back to using my Amazon ones 😊
Gaby, I'd recommend educating yourself on Temu and their awful practices. They are known for labour exploitation, incredibly long hours for unlivable pay. Workers in factories are treated awfully, there's a reason why the products on Temu are incredibly (unbelievably) cheap. I'd really, really advise looking into resources online which expose these practices, there's even a Channel 4 documentary here on RUclips, and lots of other exposés. I know adverts will make it seem appealing, but you should avoid in future. It might be better to do a charity shop £10 challenge or something!

@@jayr4857 just because you can't source literally everything in a sustainable way doesn't mean you shouldn't try to make improvements where you can! It's just some gentle feedback for Gaby which she can do what she wants with, I like her content a lot, but influencers with an online presence have a lot more responsibility than the average person. That's why I asked her to reconsider making videos on companies like Temu!
Gaby thanks for sharing your experience of TEMU as I have heard mixed reviews about it. I do agree with you if you are very selective and careful then you can pick up some really good bargains but don't expect the quality to be at a premium. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of these challenges and it's always a pleasure to watch and you never fail to make me smile and laugh 😊
Anything ive bought from Temu especially clothing has never turned up to be the way that is shown online, suppose you get what you pay for. also here in Northern Ireland the minimum order price has risen from £10 to £15, I thought it was the same all over.

Hello Gabby enjoying your vlog on TEMU Buy from them all the time because of the prices and the quality is fairly okay I did get sunglasses that were better quality than the flimsy ones you got but... I bought their jewelry and their clothing and these really good mats and rugs for the kitchen and for the living room and for my balcony their well made ... Lightweight better than rugs... I get a lot of compliments on my jewelry all the time.

I buy bits from there stationary this time on order for my son as he starts high school September. I wouldn't buy electrical tho I don't trust electrics from a cheap site but brought clothing cheap trousers for work, and jogging bottoms for my son to Knock around in, the quality isn't like Primark or m&s Asda etc but they will do for the place where I will wear them
I have never had a bad product from temu, of course you get what you pay for and the quality isn't suppose to match that of a more expensive product, that goes without saying, you can't really compare on that, you buy for cheapness to save money and expect a product of lower quality, but there are some surprises where tbe quality is great.
Hey Gaby, Thanks for replying on FB.. Do please follow on there. I bought a watch from Temu. Looked amazing with leather and buttons, and multple dials. Nice box. Got it - rubbish. Cheap. Buttons didn't work. Dials didn't work. I did get it replaced, but the replacement was just as bad. Plus, if you notice, you are "upsold" left, right, centre and sideways. Plus Stop watches and all sorts. I will steer very well clear of it. And frankly I'm not surprised of your mat issue - it was probably assigned to that category, and simply missed by you. Easily done. I'd be tempted to buy coffee filter papers, but my hunch is that they would 'fold in' or tear in a filter machine. Great little challenge tho. I know a Vlogger on YT that does similar challenges in big stores in London. Hope weather has treated you well in your neck of East Anglia. Simon

Often get Temu adverts popping up on my phone but never looked at the site. I suppose the old adage of you get what you pay for springs to mind. You definitely informed us about what you get, so learnt from that.
Awesome video Gaby, I definitely wouldn't shop at temu, everything just looks like cheap tat and I prefer to buy something with more quality behind it but that's just me I know everyone is different and some people like temu and people can like whatever they feel like x
I have heard a number of mixed comments about TEMU, so your experience was of particular interest. I agree with you, if you are careful and selective you can pick up some bargains. Perhaps we should bear in mind the old saying, if it looks too good to be true then it is too good to be true! Look forward to more of these challenges.
ive had 50/50 reviews of temu from friends some say stay clear and others saying how good it is.well i gave in 2 days ago and spent £44.i will let you know my verdict when it arrives :)

I don't mind temu. Yea, I've had a couple of things of sketchy quality but if it's only a few dollar's i can live with it, but overall, it's not too bad.

That towel was a beach mat. Pitch it down with those holders and enjoy! Pretty handy I say.

I have one of those beach mats … you put is down on the sand then put your towel etc on top .. it’s to stop the dampness coming through
The beach mat is actually quite good, we have one in back garden to make a little play area on grass.

Temu may be cheap, but the quality is extremely good. Have been using Temu for years
Sadly, the catch to them selling things very cheaply is making people work hard for very little money in poor conditions.

I got lots from them and they sent me a pair of trainers for 5 euros as I live in Spain. They are more comfy than my expensive Nike trainers. xxx

It starts at a tenner and goes up to 15 after a few orders. But you can go on the chat bott and get it turned off so then all postage is free

Helo gaby how are you doing today sweetheart and that tell happen this morning l wake to up to huge spider at 4.00am bedroom l had get hoover suck spider in and l wake afternoon and l radio 2 and teach my kid maths and English and piano 🎹 cooking hoovering and dust off tv 📺 and my neighbour vacuum cleaner broke again l fix by me it dyson dc04

Hi Gaby found your video very interesting and surprised how far your money stretched despite the uneven quality. Never used TEMU before but will check it out out of curiosity although rather worried about the comments concerning scamming/harvesting etc. Bogie green is my fave clolour lol.
