The way Gohan showed such casual disregard for Krillin's life when he was taken hostage is honestly kind of disturbing to me. Even if he could be wished back, that doesn't change the fact that Gohan did not seem to even care that one of his best friends was in mortal danger and mocked the Cell Jr for thinking taking Krillin as a hostage would matter to him. His Saiyan rage and pride had consumed him to the point he started displaying sociopathic behavior.
Gohan was basically supposed to be "numb" after finally losing control, which is why he seemed to lose some of his sense of concern for others. It was only after Goku's sacrifice that Gohan regained himself.
From what I've read, super saiyan 2 is like that. They display a more sadistic side in that state. That's why Gohan was going to draw out the torture of Cell, his rage was taking over.
Even if Gohan was more sadistic in that moment he know hes fast enough to kill them before the kill Krillin which was why one ran and the next fly up to blast both of them
Watching this made me remember of another cell saga clip you might like: "Fatherson kamehameha" by lezbeepic. You already watched some of his videos awhile ago but haven't done one in awhile. I'm sure you'd love it.

Fun fact about the Cell Jrs. shown in a bonus chapter. When Gohan killed them, a couple of them narrowly survived having that nucleus destroyed and they regenerated. After Cell died, Android 17 found them on that island after he became a park ranger as we saw in DBS and tamed them, letting them live since they’re an “endangered species” and they’re domesticated now. I forgot which chapter exactly it was, but it was released either around the same time as or shortly after the manga version of the Universe Survival Saga.

Its bigger than that, pretty sure if it doesn't hurt EU citizens ability to watch US creators as well (Which will hurt the creators) but will eventually reach us here, where we are already fighting our own net neutrality issue. The release of this finale itself might influence whether or not they decide to continue on afterwards.
