- (June 2013) This was the last (and nicest!) hotel I stayed at in Costa Rica. Of the four hotels I stayed at, this was the only one with air conditioning- which was a welcome commodity in all the humidity...

My boyfriend and I are staying here I’m August :) this wasn’t much of a tour but I still really liked seeing it from another perspective. Hope you had a lovely trip
Extremely cozy room, if a bit too small. Lovely grounds, as well.
Thanks for the video. It seems more crowded & louder than I envisioned. That darn trick photography had me hooked. Question, was your room a "garden view"? Do you remember how much you paid?
Trick photography?
I was there with a group, and I payed for the whole trip in one lump sum. Because of that, I don't know how the room was advertised either. Also, everyone you see in this video (aside from drivers on the street) was part of my group. I wouldn't call it crowded at all...
OK, thanks. Most hotels use wide angle photo lenses to make the rooms & property seem bigger & brighter, thus "trick photography" -- like a real estate advertisement. Its been 15+ years since I visited Tamarindo, looks like town is VERY touristy. I think I will spend more time in Playa Negra & Malpais instead.
Yeah, it's a bit touristy but I wouldn't say overly so. If you want to be in a town where no one speaks English, try Tilaran (I also stayed there)
is it really necessary to think that those people are going to like being filmed swimming and using as your thumbrail?
I was staying with these guys at the time- if they were just random people no I wouldn't film them in the pool. You can't identify anyone from the thumbnail (too small) so I don't think its an issue.
