      I'm definitely a victim of that circumstance, I had Ex that wants to know everything and first it started off, as I care about you I just want to know what you doing but slowly and truly that mask came off and it's a lot of things I couldn't do because I was trying to build my business and she felt that I was holding back from her but that wasn't the case and I just remember saying the prayer on the Sunday night, asking God if that relationship wasn't for me remove it and if it's going to hurt me but I gotta understand it by Friday night we broke up she called it off but the funny thing is soon as she walked out of my life everything open up a business open up the loans that I was praying for the right people came in my life and that just showed me it's best to just keep your mouth shut and let God move because soon you start opening up that's when people try to come in to destroy your dreams woman or male and I know this kind of off topic I see all these women love ghost off of Power but then when I get a real man and moves like him that's not going to discuss everything they going to complain and say that you being sneaky but damn know well they the sneaky one. Be very aware of these women especially the ones that like to brag about how every dude they dealt with gave them money and they didn't have to do nothing.

    I had a boss like that, he did all the maintenance on his properties from painting to dry wall. He drove an an old Toyota truck, and lived in Hancock park. He was pulling in about $35,000 a month from his properties. When he passed away he had a net worth of $6,000,000. I learned a lot from his frugality and humbleness.

    In my opinion showing wealth is a sign of immaturity. This does not apply to everyone who shows their wealth, but an affluent person really don't want everyone to know what they have. They want to be appreciated for who they are & not their assets.

    This is actually very true. I know alot of older wealthy white men who are almost twice my age. They drive around in regular fords and dress in clothes that make them look like the handy man. Many wont spend their money on anything expensive except the home they live in. One of the guys i am really good friends with was kind enough to show me the books of his investment company that owns several apartment complexes. after all expenses he was bringing in 60,000 in profit every month. If someone looked at this guy you would think he was a handy man at his own apartment complexes. He is always down to earth and never flaunts a penny of his money. Its something we can all benefit from as men, helps you keep the worthless people that just want to take advantage of you away

      Working on it now but I take my time before entering a relationship. So one of the women that passed my test was not impressed with my bmw when I went on the 4th date and actually was disappointed because she thought i would make a better financial decision. That shit turned me on on the inside plus she paid and she has has a Chase credit card. You know most of the chase cards are selective with people with good credit. I don't know it is scary to be dating a black woman with no kids and drama in her early thirties. But again its still early and time will tell if its really her or her representative.

    Great video, Brother Rom. I believe men need to go ghost and fall off the scene and make moves in silence, in the shadows. A man can build alone--if he has the skills. And if he has to linkup or barter or pay another man to learn the skills, get the knowledge low-key. When ppl ask what you're up to, tell them you are reading about squid farming or some weird goofy shit but never tell them what the deal is. It doesn't matter what they think of you. All that matters is that he is taking baby steps up that mountain.
    As a black man I want to see more black men coming up in the world and forcing these women to humble themselves and tighten up (trick daddy voice). These women cannot deal with a man who moves like this.

    • @RomWills
      @RomWills  7 лет назад +11

    Another on point video like you always do! I remember the other video you did talking about the successful low-key black man! Highly financially successful black man are always going to always be low key including all the other races too but we're going to keep it on the topic of the black man. Like you said, you have some brothers out here that's handling their business that's owning real businesses, lucrative money-making businesses that's not telling everybody because these brothers have some real money including certain sisters too. The reason why they don't tell everybody is for a reason because they don't want people knowing what they working with for various reasons, people want to plot, sabotage your finances, come up with so-called ideas to try to get money out of you or because they want to get to your level but want to do it off your expense, also it prevents people from always having their hands out asking you for money every time they see you! Brothers who are on the sun level financially they shine at certain times on certain occasions, they don't always look like they have money every single day. Sometimes they look playing the regular on a daily basis on certain days throughout the week but they stay making moves, making money, getting involved with different things keeping quiet! Another thing too Rom like you've mentioned and I've witnessed and seen this several times, you have a lot of fake front ass men and women out here who by all these expensive items tangibly, cars , clothes and jewerly to try to make people think that they really have something and they're doing so great but in actuality they're not, they don't have anything! They don't have any real assets just plenty of liabilities because at the end of the day what's going to matter it's what's in that bank account along with your Investments, lucrative ones! don't say front people including men and women be the first ones to want to make the exception like they so above somebody else who they feel is beneath them because they don't have a certain look or appearance like the individual who's fronting but that s*** don't impress me and I don't get fooled by that s*** at all when I see things like that and I see it often, it doesn't impress me at all. I never be quick to say oh that person got money because they're driving a nice car, they're dressed a certain way, those kind of people have debts out the ass when you have people who have millions of dollars or billions and don't look like they got a quarter! Those the ones that have the real money that's making power moves that don't do a lot of bragging or talking or boasting ! People who have real money and really have things going on are aware of fake fronting people like I just mentioned as well as yourself, people with money see right through those kind of people because all they have to do is ask them a couple questions and listen to them talk and they'll put two and two together and see right through them. People who have real money are smart, they didn't get to that High Financial level being dumb so they definitely can decipher the b*******!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Ironically, it depends on how you define outside your race. So many of you bruthas think Black AMERICAN women are the only Black women on the planet. There are sistas from Africa, Canada, Europe, and Latin America that are nothing like Black American women, because they are raised in different cultures. And when you add in non-Black women from all the other 7 continents the dating for successful Black men is unlimited from my experience. A lot of Black males dating problems comes from forcing the issue with Black American women. Who has time for that?

    • @plato651
      @plato651 7 лет назад +13

      You raise a good point. A lot of people have never taken the Myers-Briggs personality test, but should. I know from my research that I am an INTJ, a natural introvert. Based on the research, introverts only make up 25% of the global economy; but I'd bet the bank that the American Black community is more extroverted than the rest of the world. Therefore, introverted/low-key Black males have to expand their dating pool outside of the American Black community or wallow in pity. My experience is similar to yours, and most of the Black women I meet in America are attracted to extroverted and flashy; and there is nothing wrong with that. The issue only arises when Black women push the narrative of Black men ain't shit, there are no good Black men, etc. However, you are wrong to say a low key Black male FAILS. A man with credentials can never consider himself a failure. The shallow woman is the failure...

      Dating outside means you're transfering your money outside the community, building another groups economy Black men already give their money away spending in white owned company's which cripples our economy. When u marry a black woman your transfering your money to your own, keeping your dollars in the black community which is good for the black economy. Our competitors White, Chinese, Jewish, Arab communities know this already. Perhapes your attracted to those types of black women who don't have a similar personality as u. Find groups of black women who r somewhat like u who like to spend time in a similar enviroment as u do n are'nt flashy types.

I'll buy name brands from the outlets because I'm cheap and dont value material. I like to look fly but I won't spend alot of money to do so. That's one thing younger guys have to understand is you dont have to spend tons of money on trinkets to get the tricks. Because she'll leave you for a broke dude anyway.

She will know me in private situations but on the workplace not really because that it has nothing to do with here.

    It is said that a confident man works in silence. However, a lot of people are into the notion that one must "dress for success". The belief that one must project an aura of power, influence and/or wealth. In other words, "fake it until you make it". And that in itself is what a lot of women are attracted to. Shiny trinkets. I'm sure everybody remember that episode of Steve Harvey's show where he had these entitled twins on a blind date with these two black men that were in makeup to look unappealing. And both of those men were quite successful. Also, a lot of people are into brands as they symbolize status.

Absolutely no personal or family drama, and political posts are spare. There is so much peace when you stunt on 'em in silence, and make their jaws drop at your hard work. Don't say anything about your goals and plans until it's time. Hit the gas on 'em when they have no idea how you made big moves.

      That's not true. A lot of people with money flaunt it. Donald Trump is a good example, and he is now the POTUS. The problem, is trying to be something you are not, and being immoderate. Dressing nice, having fly things, and being unabashed with it is cool if that's who you really are and fits your lifestyle/means. If you are a dude on a $10k income trying to roll a big body 500, wear $100 shirts, etc., good luck with that. But if you are boss, nothing wrong with popping your collar; its all about context.

    Some women fall for the stereotype stories of black men. Many black women tend to lean to cynicism when it comes to black men. It's become universally routine to think black men "ain't shit." The truth is more of us are building than most women think. Speaking for myself, I build, but I don't want to be known by a lot of women. By the way, I have the Franklin Frazier book (Black Bourgeoisie) and have read it twice, Rom. I'd say it should be recommended reading for all black people.

    Rom us blacks have been wearing our wealth since the beginning of times. The only difference between now and pre slavery is the fact that our people actually had much wealth before. Wearing our wealth is apart of our culture ( Rap, fashion, flavor). It's the reason why we get hated on most by other races and also why other races try to be like us. It's really not a bad thing if you have it like that, we just have to move a little smarter.

    It's very true Rom . But why can't we live the best of both worlds ? If a man wants to spend his wealth on his cars, clothes and the show who cares ? How about a man who has millions generating from his assets and he chooses to buy a nice car and nice clothes not necessarily to show off but because he personally likes the make or model of that vehicle . All in a nutshell , I'm saying we don't make it out of this world alive , the only problem I see is somebody spending before they get it and buying cars on lease . Do some research on wealth , read good books like think &a grow rich. Educate yourself first before you start spending . All those billionaires who don't live a lavish lifestyle are boring to me . Think about it . Yes GENERATIONAL WEALTH IS THE GOAL, to have education and finance for your kids to pass on to their kids and etc . But why can't I do that and buy what I like w/o feeling like I'm showing off. Everybody is different and thinks different . I'm okay with living the best of both worlds and idc what people think about it . I'll be building my business and assets and when I want to purchase something nice I'll do so. If you can't buy it TWICE , don't buy it.

    • @RomWills
      @RomWills  7 лет назад +16

      If that's how you want to roll do it. People should do what makes them feel good. The key is actually HAVING the wealth. Many people are fronting.

    • @plato651
      @plato651 7 лет назад +9

      Rom was referring to those that are fronting, faking and trying to keep up with the Joneses. There is nothing wrong with spending in moderation, its the people who spend without thinking and blow all their money and have nothing tangible to show for it. For example, you have assets of $100,000-liabilities of $200,000. Your net worth is (-$100,000) and you are a bankrupt idiot at that point. I agree with you, when one accumulates wealth from hard work they should treat themselves, but always do it in moderation...
