My reaction, too. He is a fantastic actor and he moves like a dancer. I'm younger than he is and man do I wish I could be as limber as he. Very impressive, Mr. Jackson.
Samuel had no idea he was going to be used as the "anger" interpreter in the debate for his perfected deliver of the timeless classic *"M***********r!!!* 😂😂
Yeah, it seems their friendship never ended after the prequels. You dont hear about George Lucas hanging out with too many celebrities. Its cool Mace Windu is in his innercircle.
I never want to meet any of my favorite actors/ celebrities. I’m always afraid they’ll be different and crush my idea of who they are. I do. It get the sense that one Mr. Samuel L. Jackson is any different in person than what I imagine him to be. As evidenced by the fact that he is literally friends with everyone. Truly a gift. Keep making awesome movies/projects Mr Jackson. We’re here for all of it.
I was flying from Atlanta to LA about 10 years ago where he and his wife were on the flight. He stood waiting to board in the coolest hat and shades I’d ever seen and when I gave him my OMFG smile with eyes the size of saucers he nodded his head and smiled back. It has always been my favorite celebrity sighting.
The last time I saw him the Late Show he was promoting The Piano Lesson on Broadway. I promptly bought tickets the same night, and it was so worth it! Incredible performances all around! And honestly, eye opening. It felt like something more people should see, to really get a perspective on how life was and can still be for people of color, even more than what people might already know or assume. So yeah, I think I'll go see this film too :)
I'm so glad they are telling this story!! I grew up hearing the story about the infamous party after the fight. I looked for information about the robbery once but couldn't find anything. (It wasn't a deep dive and this was before Wikipedia gave us instant access to all human knowledge.) My daddy swears he knows people who were at the party and real version of people you see on the screen and talks about all the people "turning up dead every where." I give him a 75% truthful rating but a 100% entertainment rating. 😂😂 His stories are always colorful.
Actually from what Colbert was saying about how everything he does is serious or intimidating. NOT true. From a young age I was into all the spoof films. Airplane! Hot Shots! Naked Gun, Wrongfully Acused, and “Loaded Weapon” he was laugh out loud funny. Who else remembers Loaded Weapon? It doesn’t get nearly enough love.
Kevin Hart's answer to "Testify!" should have been... wait wait this is part where you say "you will know my name is The Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon thee!"
"My wife's hand" - Best response for all married wealthy men like Mr. Jackson when it comes to friends asking for money or family wanting a loan. Just Saying
😂😂😂😂 I'm sorry, during the clip all my brain kept saying was; "this is what VP Harris did to #45"!! Forgive me, I love Samuel but I'm still in my debate after glow phase 😏😏🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️💙💙
"Flesh on the mythological bones of..." I REALLY like that analogy. Digging through history, especially surrounding events where secrecy and mystery are involved, can be more like an archaelogical (or paleological, depending on how much information you actually have to stay with and how nix there actually is to find that isn't lost to history) dig than writing fiction. That's a GREAT way of putting it. It's like how they thought dinosaurs had reptilian skin, but now they think it's possible they could've had feathers and have looked more birdlike- the point being that if they DID have feathers, we wouldn't have known because the feathers could never past 65 million years. Obviously events in the 20th century we have a bit more to go on. But with history you're ALWAYS left having to figure out if there are blanks to fill in. If there are blanks you have to figure out WHETHER, as the historical "archaeologist" you should fill in the blanks, and if so, what is most likely thing to be true to fill them in with.
Man I can't take Samuel serious ever. What a great actor. Am I in Django, a Chateau in France, or yacht #2. Or for people that haven't seen it......The Last Full Measure. How this didn't win any oscars or Fuck the Oscars. Watch that movie
When I saw the title of this, even without seeing episode when it aired, just by following SLJ on IG it’s obvious he’s Yacht obsessed. So I knew it was going to be on a yacht lol
He's 75 and floated across the stage like he's 25. I hope I'm blessed like that when I'm his age.
Testify! 😂😂
It’s because Sam and Magic know about alkalinity / Dr Sebi. Bless yourself with looking into this…
He looks like he just entered his 50s, like me!
My reaction, too. He is a fantastic actor and he moves like a dancer. I'm younger than he is and man do I wish I could be as limber as he. Very impressive, Mr. Jackson.
He takes care of himself
The joy he entered with has me smiling big time!
“What’s in your wallet?”
Lol that is golden and iconic
Priceless
Samuel had no idea he was going to be used as the "anger" interpreter in the debate for his perfected deliver of the timeless classic *"M***********r!!!* 😂😂
This man! Boy when they say black don't crack this is what they mean. I'm 39 and have been watching his genius as long as I can remember. Literal goat
I'm 38 and I can say the same thing I've been watching him since I was a kid
I'd like to look that good at 75 years old. I remember Sam saying he was 50 during an interview for Star Wars and was blown away by that.
OH my Lord! That was made 25 years ago already!?
I'd like to look that good at 45
I looked better than that at 75 but it's been all down hill since then..
Hahaha 😂 jk
Crack is amazing
No surprise to me, with melanin in Black skin that doesn’t age like white skin, it’s always that way, people better recognize “
Samuel L Jackson, whose movies have the highest combined gross sales in history, is the m-f’in man.
Yeah, he is.
I didn't know that, but I'm not surprised.
The m-f'in man? The m-f'in man.
Do you know the m-f'in man?
He lives on Drury Lane.
He is the true meaning of a generous human being. Great man.
That clip was classic Samuel L. Jackson.
SOOOO GOOD!!
Very cool to hear about Sam hanging out with George and his wife.
Yeah, it seems their friendship never ended after the prequels. You dont hear about George Lucas hanging out with too many celebrities. Its cool Mace Windu is in his innercircle.
@@anthonygordon9483 Well, Mace is on the Jedi Council....

Holy crap! Not just the film, but he's playing Frank Moses too!! Can't wait to see it 💜💜
Wow, for a man who's 75, he looks amazing!...
Dont drink, dont smoke, work out when you can and eat organic.
This man keeps getting younger. Sam Jack is a legends of our time.
Oh man, I've not heard of Fight Night. An essential watch now 👍🏼
The man, the machine, the legend himself. My hero.

Oh, that's Magic's Yacht! Samuel L. Jackson is one charming Mo' F'er!
I kid you not, as soon as I saw the thumbnail of Samuel L Jackson my brain went “motherf@&a”.
Watcho mouth! 😂
It's funny, because you wrote it, and I can _hear_ it XD
But now you have to imagine him saying it on a jet ski - while having a great time
Thank you, Sir, for sharing your time with us here.

Mr Fury is Brilliant Indeed
-Colbert
The big takeaway: When asked "What's in your wallet?", Mr. Jackson's response is, "My wife's hand"!
Fun fact: Samuel L Jackson’s movies have made over $27 billion, making him the highest-grossing actor of all time.
That’s pretty easy to do when u star in every movie lol

And last but certainly not least… Snakes on a plane.
I like how immediately went to greet the band, audience and then Stephen : )
What a legend
He's the best, and absolutely deserves as many yachts and chateau's as he can handle!
Tom Holland's spoiler spirit has possessed the entire Marvel cast.
Lord Have Mercy 😂
'In the big house?'😂
Love me a Jackson...❣️
SAMUEL JACKSON ❤
Pulp fiction
Man i was waiting for Sam to quote that scripture from pulp fiction before shooting Kevin 😂😂
I've got this passage memorized
Kevin Hart's answer to "Testify!" should have been... wait wait this is part where you say "you will know my name is The Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon thee!"
Lol. His character is definitely giving Pulp Fiction vibes.
Kevin Hart will portray Harriet Tubman in upcoming bio-pic.
Love Samuel❤
Thought for sure that he would recite his " biblical " passage from Pulp Fiction............
What?!
Whatta guy, whatta guy! 🎉
This clip gives --> "You will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you" Love SLJ!
When your summer time includes multiple mentions of "yacht", life is pretty damn good. Well done, Sam.
"My wife's hand" - Best response for all married wealthy men like Mr. Jackson when it comes to friends asking for money or family wanting a loan. Just Saying
Sam went back and channeled Julius for that scene 😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
I'm sorry, during the clip all my brain kept saying was; "this is what VP Harris did to #45"!!
Forgive me, I love Samuel but I'm still in my debate after glow phase 😏😏🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️💙💙
It must be nice to be influential with friends who are influential as well! ❤❤❤❤
I loved his action in The Matrix.
I'd love to see Samuel L. Jackson moderate a presidential debate.
Nice
If anyone deserves a chateau and yacht vacations, it's this dude here🎉🎉🎉
Can we just have him as weekly guest? Love his energy!
Sam damn you for looking so MFing good at your age! Love the positivity and energy too!❤❤
Nice panerai, Samuel!
He kicked his substance additions many years ago and now is healthy AF Respect SLJ
🙋🏼♀️🥳❤️❤️❤️🫶🏼
Hasn’t changed and still a great man!
It’s amazing how Sam is forever young whilst Morgan Freeman is forever old. 😊❤❤❤

Chicken MAAAAN! He's everywhere!

Damn Samuel L. Jackson looks good for 75, we want Mace Windu back!
Those giant glasses are crushing his nose lol
Mr. Samuel L Jackson is an iconic actor!!! Vote Blue!! Harris-Walz 2024!!!
Cant get enough illegals eh?😅😂
that was such a Pulp Fiction moment
I can imagine Jackson speaking to a suit was like "man I don't wear those sh*t man am not Ryan rynords"
When I saw the title of this, even without seeing episode when it aired, just by following SLJ on IG it’s obvious he’s Yacht obsessed. So I knew it was going to be on a yacht lol
Hard to believe that Jackson was nominated twice for an academy award, but NEVER won. He was given an Honorary Academy Award by Denzel Washington.
oh, the DJ from Do the Right Thing
He missed the opportunity to say “Lucas’ yacht is a spaceship!”
"The path of the righteous man..."
