We used to go to Lowe’s and other hardware stores and they’d give us big pieces of cardboard then we’d have them hold little water balloons in their hands. Fun and teaching drill on a hot day!
As a mom of a 6 year old who has a little scoliosis I worry about his back. Could he land right on his tail bone and get what I call a (stinger). Is there something i can teach him while he learns to slide to make sure that doesnt happen.

Don’t put a mat on a mat. Put a sheet, a blanket or a piece of cardboard on the mat so it will slide. Your black mat is too big and heavy to slide.
Can’t pop up sliding like this.
