Stewart & Offord would be straight OP in a few years. If we get these guys this defense is gonna be ELITE

With the option of the portal, I'd much prefer quality over quantity. At this time, Oregon is #1 in 2025 and #3 in 2026 for average quality of recruit. I hope they can keep that up.

Jakeem Stewart and Lincoln Cure are the two I’d love to snag, but guarding recruits like Finney and Dallas Wilson should be the priority

Stewart and Jaron would be the two biggest gets we could ask for. Maybe another OL or IDL?

JKS visiting Cal to watch them play ACC rival Stanford. That's just weird

So far, all of the "leaning to Oregon" kids discussed in this video are trending elsewhere since this video was made.

Here after underwood flipped from lsu to Michigan along with several other players, dj Pickett is back in play. And after that I don’t think jahkeem goes to lsu

Ducks could play 3rd string the next two games, lose both, and get the much easier 5th seed in the playoffs. Not that they should. Not that they will. But they could.

A bye in the playoff is vital. The other teams get beat up while the bye teams get to rest. It’s a massive advantage.

@@princeofgreece9054 For sure. It's just interesting to weigh that against playing lesser teams.

First let me start by saying Max is awesome. Great flow and his information is logical and well packaged. I would say the one thing I notice and it's not significant but...... Max seems to tell too much of the story when a guy like Wilfong comes on. It seems as though he should reduce the amount of his thoughts and opinions and allow a guy like Steve give his entire thought process without just echoing what Max is already saying. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. Principle of power.. “never outshine the master”
Wiltfong is a legend, proper titles, respect, and letting him talk and share his opinion more would go a long way

I want Oregon to play Ohio State again.... time to shut those whiney buckeye fans up

Well, we will. Indiana would have been a better match-up for us IMO, but if those are the cards we're dealt, so be it. Ducks can't make mistakes that Indiana made. Ducks are going to have to be near perfect. No 2 ways about it.

I’m sure I’m the only one who thinks like this but it really doesn’t seem like Oregon being #1 in the country hasn’t really elevated them in recruiting….there seem to be more flips possibly leaving Oregon than coming to Oregon

I think the problem is that highly rated recruits need to compete to see the field at Oregon, where they could go somewhere with fewer talented recruits coming in and start right away.

College football is mostly about recruiting. Actual onfield performance is secondary. What a shady, creepy sport.

    • @KMCB12
      @KMCB12 5 дней назад +2

You can say that about basically any sport. Recruiting is incredibly important in basically every college sport and in professional sports that also holds true with drafting and free agency. Whether you simply draft a good QB makes a huge difference in the NFL. In basketball, the perennially underperforming Cavs became an immediate contender just by drafting LeBron. Coaching and scheme still matter, but the actual talent on the field always makes the biggest difference. This is not unique to college football.
