I used Barnes Clariti resin to make this drip bowl. I also used Pinata alcohol ink.

I love how the ‘mistake’ piece became part of the final result. Brilliant
I like TRUE videos! All people make mistakes, but don't show them. Thank you for showing !
You are not only informative but entertaining (and I mean that in the most positive way)…thank you for doing all these videos. Who wouldn’t want to watch someone so happy and excited about their craft?! This piece is so creative and beautiful.
I appreciate that you show both successes and opportunities for improvement! Kudos from the US! 😀
Gorgeous!!! Love how both pieces turned out. No mistakes just Happy accidents, as the amazing art teacher Bob Ross taught everyone.
Hello from the US! Thank you so much for NOT showing the “perfect ones” you always see! and how to try and fix it when necessary, and when to just start over! You are APPRECIATED “across the pond”!
Oh, Julie, you are a breath of fresh air with your comments. I love listening to you. . You never give up & keep on trucking. Luv ya!
I love the first ome very beautiful looks like a glass crown
Дуже добре було б це відео публікувати з українським перекладом,або перекладом на декілька мов,щоб люди могли наслідувати ваше мистецтво і теж собі навчилися виготовляти таку красу.
Absolutely stunning! I appreciate that you share the good and the 'not so good'. Anyone that only posts total successes are not offering a realistic approach for their viewers. Thank you for keeping it real.
Great job, I love seeing you experimenting with different ideas, lovely.
Hi, Julie, from New Jersey, USA!! Your " fails" teach us so much!! Thank you for showing them!👍👍👍👍👍
Love the two pieces together, they work really well as a whole
I am so with you Julie. I have watched several videos to do with resin art and they ALL make it look easy, yet when I try it does not turn out anywhere near what was in the video. The ones I really like are the videos where they say " this is my first time using resin....and look how great it turned out!!! ". ( I think it is more like it is the first time they put it on video)
It looks like a 3d snapshot of a giant rock hitting the water. Absolutely beautiful
Love it. You even showed us if mistakes and made another. ❤ Thank you.
You always make amazing things. These two items are beautiful. They really do look great together. So whimsical. I love em. Leta
I absolutely love the way you show all. Thank you
I love listening to you u sound like me when I'm doing projects! I love u showed the fail because as u were saying, other people make their projects look so easy. Thanks for the amazing idea and inspiration
Julie, that is just so pretty - the shape, color and shine. So unique! A happy ending. Timing seems to make the difference. Awesome!
I love your enthusiasm and excitement. This is a very entertaining and informative tutorial, learning alot Thanks!
Like like like it. I love the way you stage your work...it's as lovely as your creations. Thumbs up!
They turned out very cool! Bravo
This is something you should continue to experiment with. I have seen some amazing resin sculpture and you have the imagination to do an amazing piece.
I really hope your family know just how sweet and adorable your are. I've been sick the last fews days and watching you has brought a huge smile to my face. I hope you and your family have an amazing 2021. oh you got a new fan in me.
Julie!! You are my favorite resin artist by far!! I truly believe that we would be fast friends if we lived in the same hemisphere of the Earth!! This splash is so beautiful! When you took it off of the vase and the "tentacles?" Bent down it was so interesting! I loved it that way also. Maybe you could try a three layer one with the short little pokies and the long bendies and the long straight spikies.. Can't wait to watch your next video!!!
I taught pottery for many years one of my biggest sellers was abstract bowls. After watching this I see I can make them with resin, thank you love it
Oh the Humanity ~! Thank you Muriel, for showing your struggles along with the rest of us..not so alone now 🙂..Your work is truly Inspiring !
Absolutely beautiful that blue is just stunning. The 1st one your right looks like a very expensive crown. Second is very neat also kinda looks like water drips affect with the bling you added. Thank you for your videos I love watching you it is never the same thing over and over like others do. Always very interesting Julie and you are always so happy it is infectious thank you so much again!!
This takes my breath away!
On the 1st one to flatten down bottom use a large can or 2 to weight it down. Works perfect when I have a wobbly! Generally I let it sit a day or 2 and bamm its flat!😁❤
It’s so amazing! You’re Talent never cease’s to fail us!
Wow you are amazing! Your ''mistake'' turned out to be great. You are now my absolute favourite artist on RUclips. I love watching you and the art you create. It's such a variety that makes it extra interesting to watch and I absolutely love how you display what you made at the end. If you had a sale and put everything on display like you do at the end of your videos I'd have to win the lottery because I would want everything I seen.
ooh I love the combo 2 pieces abstract art together. I really like it!
Your bowl is very pretty and interesting. Oh yes, I just saw the final picture. It turned out beautifully now that it has dried. Kuddos to you for not being afraid to try new things.
So creative and so fun installation wow 🤩
Your art was simply amazing so I am trying it
Bonjour je suis nouvelle dans la résine ,ces magnifique belle réalisation bravo bravo 😘
Happy to see things happen for no apparent reason. I won’t feel so bad if mine doesn’t work out. We are all human!! A friend from New Hampshire 😊
I really enjoyed this video. I actually like when the sides came down on the second one. It would be a cool piece for the wall maybe even with the crown . I just loved both of them.
I love all these helpful comments. You have such a lovely community of people following Julie. Love your channel 💚🕊🌸
The bowl is an example of excellence in abstraction that you can actually use in your living room as a decoration for a coffee table. A beautiful addition to any house hold . Not all abstraction needs to hang up on a wall.❤
Absolutely love it. Thank you for showing us.
That’s really pretty! I like both of them. They look even better together like that 🌊
Turned out fantastic!
That bowl is beautiful...really nice work...🥰
I like how you admitted your first try went awry and I love the excitement displayed when you discovered your success (of dropping).
Well done the possibilities are endless what you can do. I love your littlest sayings
The blue colors, are stunning with jewels flowing at the tips! The display is very perfect beach theme colors. I will definitely go with your color choices in designing my bathroom!
This is so cool! What a great effect you achieved. And I love the way you displayed it, too. Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
That is so amazing and as always you are a true inspiration!!! God sure blessed you with your talent!! This is a MUST TRY!!!!
Muriel, you are adorable! fun to see the whole process even the learning curves. Thank you.
Love this it’s so unusual and pretty. I love how you just go for it and all your experiments turn out wonderful. Have a great day and keep pouring! Love ya
Splash! Freeze! Gorgeous!
I love the first one. It’s a perfect tray to sit your cologne bottles on.
I think both turned out
G.R.E.A.T !!!!
Love how excited you are
"You're terrible, Muriel!" Awwww one of the best, but saddest movies. I bawled when I watched Muriel's Wedding. But Toni Collette is just a gift of an actress. Anyway, another great video! thanks for the inspiration, Julie!
It’s as good to see things not going as you thought as it is seeing things perfect for me. Very reassuring for this complete newbie. I haven’t even begun 😁 Of course I’m not going to try this straight away, but I think you will still have a nice wide bowl from your first attempt.
This is phenominal!! I absolutely love this more than words can say. I want to try resin and you continually push me to want to dive in and do it. When I can have the windows open for ventilation, I am going to give it a whirl. Thank you Julie for all that you do in doing videos, the testing and of course sharing your fabulous talent.
I think you did a great job ! It’s gorgeous !!
This was fun to watch. When you turned the big one over and it splayed out, I imagined it sitting outside with a lovely little pot plant placed inside. I think that would be pretty cool.
I like your videos! You are so real and don't edit out the "mistakes".
Watching your video right now. As you are doing the second bowl and making the folds in the plastic sheet to direct the drips, a thought came to mind. Perhaps you could use clothes pins or binder clips (as we call them in Canada) to hold the plastic folds in place while the resin drips and dries. Interesting video!
I was thinking maybe tape the plastic & drips down on the first one.( Like on the edge to encourage it to drip. This may not sound very clear, so.....😐
It came out beautiful OK my beautiful my favorite color ❤ thank you for sharing this with us.
Julie this is Stunning! so magical! you make it looks so easy, but there is a lot to learn from you. I hope I can do as well as you.
Oh my, they turned out awesome....I just decided to buy some resin and give this a try. I love them.
So exciting. Wowsers!!! Love that your heart just keeps leading your fabulous mind into so many levels of true art. Very inspiration and enjoyable
This is such a cool technique I love this set! It makes me want to make a bathroom set like this! My bathroom is beach theme 🌊🐚
Very pretty, looks like blown glass. Delicate.
This is a kickass resin splash. Best I've seen! Great job!
Love this!!! So beautiful!!!
This is so amazing!!! Stunning and gorgeous!!
I love how it completely dried. You were right to put it back on the vase to finish curing.
Well done on your first sculpture Julie. I do mine on the table with just the plastic and it doesn;t spread too much. Alcohol ink does make it cure faster I find. It looks awesome, be proud of yourself :)
How magnificent is that!! Julie you really r marvel. You r not scared to try anything. Thankyou for sharing. 🇭🇲🇭🇲Melbourne
Really neat!
Art resin would allow you to pour directly on the plastic (shower curtain works best). You would allow it to thicken just a bit before you pour. It's not as fast curing but it works really well for resin shaping.
I love how you show us it all💞🦋thank you for all your sharing, teaching and work💞🌺
It's unique and extremely beautiful.
Oh my gosh the two together look like a jellyfish!!! I love it
The star fish addition was perfect as I thought it looked like a bit of coral or a sea anemone.
Charlene Fiddler That's awesome. Looks like an octapus . Love it.
Colours are lovely.
Very awesome it almost looks like a upside down octopus funny and I like your accent God bless
Awesome to watch those cranial gears warping off to a new galaxy. U cool 😎 thanks Ricky
I absolutely love this they were meant to be together. It's real 🎨
That first one was a fancy frisbee..lol 😅🤣😂Thank you for posting even your mistakes to show you are human as we all are. And if at first we don't succeed try,try again. Love the videos excited 😊 to give it a try. 🎨 🖼 🎭
That was so fun to watch. I think it turned out beautiful. If you would have made an even smaller one, you could have left the middle one with the drips going all different ways and the small middle one with the drips pointing straight up. Just thinking out loud here. LOL I love it!!!
I've seen others pour the initial resin just flat onto plastic. Making a border out of whatever you can come up with. Then when it's cured a bit and "hung" over the vase, that's when it gets its shape. Afraid yours is going to be too thick in the center. ? Thicker resin cures faster, I think. Exothermic reaction. Oh, a little too early on the second one. Timing is everything on these. I know you like to learn on your own, but check out Sue Findlay. She does awesome resin sculptures. Play on, my dear. You'll get it figured out, you always do.
yup. That's what I was thinking too.
I hope this didn't upset you, Julie. You didn't heart me 😯. I just ramble to you while your doing things. Half the time you fix whatever I mention by the end of the video.
I love this channel. You taught me to acrylic pour last year. I make resin jewelry with dried flowers and I am looking to move onto bigger resin work. Here you are, helpful as always. Thank you so, so much!
Great center peace for the wedding table.great fun video.
Both results were beautiful, however, I really liked the look of the vase when all the tentacles were falling over. Wonderful work either way.
The effect is an upside down jellyfish; I love it!
Absolutely FABULOUS! You are amazing.
beautiful .
I think you could make the first one. just tape edge of resin down and next heat it up with emboss heater.
Love this and picked up a lot of ideas to correct my mistakes like putting on in a plate, I would never have throught of that! Love both the creations. Remember what Bob Ross the artist always used to say? "We don't make mistakes, we have happy little accidents" I guess no housework is going to get done today, I am off making resin aliens!! Thanks a lot Julie x
Success! It looks like water displacement, very pretty.
What do u do with left over resin u can make circles square blocks or long square logs or other things an save them an make bowls or small plates to put jewelry or keys in
It looks great !! it looks just like a jellyfish ❤absolutely gorgeous ❤
Very unique! Very cool! Very beautiful!
Your work on this is amazing. I love the beach display. Congratulations!
