THE BEST MEAT PIE RECIPE || FLAKY AND DELICIOUS GHANA MEAT PIE

This popular Ghanaian snack is sure to become your family’s favorite. Once you try it, you’ll realize it’s easy to prepare and you wouldn’t have to buy it any more.
The pastry is flaky and the filling is absolutely delicious. You can have it as breakfast, brunch, or as a snack. And it pairs so well with chilled Coke, juice or some hot chocolate. And if you’re Ghanaian, you know that it’s perfect with Fan Yoghurt
INGREDIENTS
CRUST
4 cups all-purpose flour
4 sticks cold butter or 1 cup cold margarine
1 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup whole milk (cold)
1 large egg
FILLING
2 pounds ground ground beef/ minced meat
2 potatoes
2 medium sized carrots
1 bulb onion
2 cloves garlic
Piece of ginger
Black pepper
White pepper
Thyme
Cayenne pepper
Smoked paprika
Adobo seasoning
Seasoning cube
Salt
Vegetable oil
