i found battlebit art style very easy for my old eyes, and a reason i do enjoy it a lot more than other fps at this moment, well obviously all the other features it provides. Never the less, is quiet impressive what one developer did with polygon. I couldn't see any of those enemies behind the fence

Ah maybe it's my eyes as well. I tried Polygon a few months ago, enemies blended with the scenery so much for me, plus this vibrant colour scheme was an eyesore.
Also, I don't know if it was the map or my team (and me) sucking, but we just got spawn killed for an entire match. Not fun.

Lol this is so true, I have problems to spot enemies in battlefield where there are so many effects
im loving the fact that these type of games are being made giving more options i hope more games come out in the style of some other games instead of battlefield
As much as I love playin' Battlebit, I kind of wish it looked a little more like this. I guess we'll see what form it takes once they implement the cell shading or whatever they have planned.

If you're on the fence about buying battlebit, just buy it. Refunded as couldn't get past the graphics style at first... But re-purchased an hour later. It's just so smooth and constantly fun without fail. Perfect as was looking for something a bit more casual for when Hell let loose gets frustrating

Not gonna lie, this looks better than BattleBit with just a Solo Developer. This game is not getting the credit it deserves at all.
It's a different style of game. This is more of a COD competitor than Battlebit. Battlebit is more like Battefield with light Milsim mechanics. Polygon seems good, but it's not a good comparison.
I like the artstyle better than battlebit.
@@TheDalisama The fact that one guy made this game and it also has bullet ricochet as well as being able to go through other objects depending on what round your shooting and what material your shooting at. Simply amazing tbh and all FPS games should make this a normal thing they add. Makes gunning down people that are dug in so much fun!

imo adding proximity chat and dragging which were fun mechanics from battlebit could be a quick (& slightly easier) way to boost the the game's popularity & hilariousness.

@@urgamecshk Yeah but it's also the simplest game ever. Compared to battlebit a lackluster of creativity and features. Can't even prone in Polygon. That being said, it doesn't mean Polygon is bad. It's simplicity also attracts players.

Just started playing Polygon. So far it seems pretty fun. One questio though: Does "spread" also apply to the ads accuracy or only while shooting from the hip?
I play this game since launch. Great FPS mechanics but it needs more content.

It’s a really fun game
played the game in January 2020 and quickly stopped playing when I unlocked the latest weapon at lvl 24. Then nearly a year later I played some, been on and off the game. There were no content for 6-7 months and now when the progression system is new I started playing it again. But I also play battlebit so it seems kinda waste to play it. Will follow the updates and try them out tho. Well spent over 120hrs
Played polygon for months. I don't like battlebit. Polygon is cool, only a few maps and good gunplay. Don't stress about levelling up. The new guns aren't all as great as they may seem before you unlock them.
Battlebit is just too young of an audience for me and too hectic. I'd rather play Squad.
Battlebit is awesome, but the devs want a more milsim approach (meaning no minimaps, no parachutes, no health bar/instant cure and many other things) This will make some players who like the arcady style of this game back off like many youtubers did just because "its a milsim". I just think everyone should try getting into that niche experience a little bit
yes because of this there are small issues in gameplay flow too. They have a fast and arcady movement system but also implement milsim aspects to the game. Some people don't like the fact they have to bandage to stop their bleeding after every engagement and think it's an annoyance. Which is understandable if you want arcady. Personally i don't mind it but they need to choose what they want.
This game has very few milsim game like mechanics, and it's also very far away from being one, i dont think the comparison is fair here

Id like if they added a little bit more of texture to battlebit, maybe just some apotion that you can activate or deactivate.
Something that adds more lightning and stuff, so the graphics doesn't look that plain.
I think the maps are a little too cluttered with objects. But it's not as bad as it used to be from what other players have told me. haha Still really fun.

Honestly, I'm glad these low poly games are coming out to say "screw realism. Let's make a game that's fun."
But I wonder if someone is going to make a game that had PS3 or Xbox 360 era graphics. I would be down for that.
Realistic graphics and fun gameplay aren't mutually exclusive.

I loved polygon, put in over 100 hours but I won't go back to it probably. If you want to see a really intense player look up "abagofpretzels"

Polygon is fun for a few hours of entertainment but trust me when I say it doesn’t come close to BattleBit. The spawn system is horrible and the maps are terribly unbalanced. The $15 price tag of BattleBit is well worth it imo.
But Polygon has nice gunplay and the art style is nice so I would recommend giving it a try especially since it’s free
I wish Battlebit will have weapon details like this one.

Jesus, if 3 devs made Battlebit with simplistic graphics for 7 years, it's pretty fucking insane 1 dev did all this AND has more details and sound design than Battlebit.

One thing I think is often overlooked is the importance of good "hit sounds". The game is looking great but the hit sounds, sound like a blip of white noise. When you hit someone is should feel satisfying, this noise does not give me that feeling.

Good thing Polygon is mentioned. Been playing this for a year now. Gave Battlebit a try yesterday but it's too chaotic for me. This is a bit more slow paced and the graphics are much more easy on the eyes. I wish Battlebit pulled me in more but I'll stick to Polygon. Here's hoping for some extra maps 🤞
32v32 is a bit less chaotic on Battlebit.
I found the opposite. The graphics hurt it for me since things like the chain link fences and random crap thrown around made it really hard to spot people. Seemed to walk out of spawn and die right away

Looks pretty good. Seems a bit more arcady than Battlebit, which I prefer in many games. I am enjoying Battlebit, but the maps really aren't that enjoyable to me for the most part. Most of them are window hugging peak fests and I like more action and less camping.

Love the game's aesthetic. I'm a fan of bright colorful lighting and textures like Apex, Wipeout Omega, Fortnite. I just don't care as much for games with drab colors.
If you cant afford 20 bucks you have to re-evaluate your life.

I'm not that type of guy who freaks out on ugly graphics but Battlebit is on a whole another level. It's so FUGLY i simply can't enjoy it, even tho i have my respects to the developers. This game however while it won't be my "next big thing" game, it's still a blast for a few short rounds.

To me ... BattleBit appeals to the younger guys that are nostalgic for Minecraft and Roblox. I play BattleBit but, it's just too clunky looking ... you gotta be a T-Rex to find a target 😆 I do like the voice chat in it a lot tho, it's fun to hear people screaming "MEDIC" "I gotcha bro" and the death screams, f'ing hilarious. (maybe these guys will implement it, it would make it stand out a bit more fun-wise) I'm definitely going to give this a try. I like the basic art style and it looks like the mechanics are good, hopefully it'll keep getting updates. My love is still for BF1 for the immersion (on a 32"), beautifully gritty. Thanks for letting us know, nicely done vid .... looks like you were having fun. 👍

@@jjswigger8591 After trying it for over an hour ... it pretty much sucked. I couldn't get 30 yards out of the spawn base before getting one-shotted, don't know if its near competition level players or hackers or both. Not to mention, the game is MASSIVELY unbalanced, you should've seen the end scores ... laughable!!! I play quite a few FPS's and so far this ones the worst. Immediately uninstalled it ... don't bother!
