Guild Wars 2 is flying under the radar and it's god damn time this changes.
I love GW2 but lets be honest ArenaNet literally slept for the last 4 years and having IBS instead of an expansion is a major standard drop for any mmo, we're just starting to get some traction from devs a few months ago so hopefully EOD will help out with the lack of content, so yes GW2 is a great game, but it's completely normal that it's flying under the radar
I think 2022 is going to be the year of the dragon. Something feels different for this xpac and the fact that Colin Johanson came back to the team.
Gw2 is a really good mmo i actually couldn't play any other since i got into it. Definitely agree it's very underrated.

I think gw2 is hyped too. Evrywhere i was looking for MMO almost evryone told me to Play gw2 and i have to say i Tried to Play IT like 6 times and i finnaly get into IT. Im playing sińce 2 weeks and i cant stop xd Imo the biggest advandtage of this MMORPG are ppl
I honestly dont like the leveling, I dont like exploring to level, Id rather do a main quest with a defined path

Too much PvP lag in GW2
Guild Wars 2 what a fantastic game with excellent combat and movement, looks great, plays great, isn't greedy. The progression is your human skill not gear. A real game for real players. It's awesome, kick ass and lovely all at the same time.
GW2 FTW! Although I've mostly been Farmframing recently, I still log in to do my dailes most days :).

I remember as a veteran gw1 player Anet mailed me a thank you card along with a rytlock plush toy for being a loyal and player moving to gw2
Loved gw2 so much, abit sad for me as there only EU and NA server and asian player like me suffer at 200+ pings. Still playable altho could experiences better esp in raid and pvp
I often mention Planetside 2 in RUclips comments, especially after I saw the BF 2042 gameplay design recently (read: why spend 80 USD for a chaotic and weak shooter, when you can play Planetside 2, a good massive shooter with a long track record and development). It remains a great game, though I have not played it in about a year now (so many games to play, as I am a CRPG fan). Otherwise I also play Squad and Hell Let Loose casually.
Must add : Planetside 2 does not feel chaotic to me, in the sense that I find it really immersive. There is a massive battle going on, and changing map is construed as moving to another region with hundreds fighting out a new battle. The giant map has enemy lines moving back and forth. Whereas Battlefield gameplay is a clusterfuck and very chaotic and you can run across the map in about 3 minutes or so. BF is like an arena where you try to get some kills before one side loses or wins, not that anyone cares who won. Buying an older BF for 5$ on Steam is fine mind you, but PS2 is just incredible.
One of the biggest hitches for Planet Side 2 for me when I first tried it was the starting weapons. That was a long time ago at this point. I just really wanted a shotgun; not really a rifle kind of guy. Then there was just my insanely bad luck of always having the wrong class in use. I kept constantly coming against tanks when spec'd to fight people and vice-versa. It was that frustration that drove me away, I was always just behind the curve on that one though I really liked the game.
The advice I was given when I 1st started years ago: Start as a medic, set up a Sunderer near enemy base, gain the bulk of your experience through healing, reviving, and team spawning on Sunderer, spend the certs gained on the class equipment, weapons, vehicles, you want to spend the most time on. This is still the best tactic for new players.

Turn on Action camera mode in settings. Trust me, it will change the feel of the game drastically and made me love the combat again
Planetside 2 is still the best fps/rpg. No pay to win here, cash shop is basically experience boosts and cosmetics. Combined arms, an insane building system, massive maps, faction vs faction vs faction constantly changed the flow of battle. So many great things about this game. If you ain't dying, you ain't trying!
Iplayed Guild wars 2 for years. I had not logged on for 5 months and when I came back my Char was deleted. I contacted them and they never contacted me back. Im still mad, same thing with DC Universe Online.
Don't play guild wars 2. The games combat, QoL and story is so good you will barely be able to play other MMOs
I really hope anet get their fkng sense to create one server for SEA players. I dont understand why after so long since release, SEA players still have to suffer the ping issue.
Planetside 2 is great, but you really have to know how to pick your fights and the game only gives you the knowledge on how to fight, not how to play the game. Meaning, that you'll spec for infantry combat when branching away from the beginner stuff, then you'll find yourself in a vehicle battle and get demolished. The game is very brutal, but as you get the hang of it, you become really devastating. Death is just a constant, even when you are done in an area, you just suicide to teleport elsewhere. But it's honestly some of the best fun I've had playing an FPS. Because it isn't about system mastery like in a CoD game. It's really skill based and learning to be patient. If you're going to solo charge a base with a ton of enemies, you're going to die real fast and probably kill one guy before that at most. The fact that you can sabotage, hack, heal, and so much more, means you are open to contribute and change your playstyle on the fly and you should.
Give SEA for GW2 please i really want to play the game but i cant keep up in pvp when your ping is at 200me
There's services online like exitlag that are supposed to reduce your ping. But they only work well if you don't have decent ping to begin with, maybe try something like that and let me know how it works? I tried it but couldn't get it to work but then found it wasn't my distance to the server but one drive and my firewall raising the ping.
Any other choices? Tried those, didn’t stick.

Albion just released a new patch. its insanely good content.
I put around 100 hours into Albion, but ultimately I gave up with that game. The mid to endgame is purely pvp, which is fine for some. I wouldn't have much of a problem with it if there were more systems in place to encourage forming friendships or discourage simply killing others. Sadly, unless you join a mega guild that already owns a section of the map you simply get squashed. On top of that solo or small group gathering/play is essentially impossible due to pk groups that sit and wait, stun you, and kill you before you can even react.
You gotta try Warspear Online 😉

Albion's item is balanced by designer's feet. No freestyle , No good fight , Just use broken item and tap to win.
I don’t know how you can claim a fallout MMO cannot survive there are literally dozens of them that are surviving very well and just so you’re clear Ultima online started as a fall loot MMO they implemented something called insurance at some point but it originally was a full loot MMO and still has items that you can loot resource items I like fallout 76 you can get everything but the scrap the resources
If you’re unable to find the Johnson to plan it so do you just think it’s a bunch of chaosAnd quite frankly it is but if you get on a good squad with a good squad leader and people who know what they’re doing it becomes a way more strategic and tactical game and the group your web generally has serious impact if they know what they’re doing wrong between flying groups of people I am doing the area I’ll be knowing when the porch when I have to push or getting in at 10 columns that is so much fun huge tank Callum pushing across from destroying everything and basically just leaving oh claimed bases in there awakeBut unfortunately the last like three or four times I’ve locked and there’s not even been an open continent your only daughter played on the Training ground I want to call tear

That game isn't underrated at all.. I've been on a crusade to find a MMO that interests me and hearing GuildWars2 in almost every MMO recommendations video is making my eyes roll so hard they are going full circle..

Some old-school mmorpgs are very underrated like rising force online. It has huge population out in many servers and private servers.
I kinda miss also other old games like
Remnant knights etc.. like graphics aren’t everything… nowadays games getting too much realistic
No they don’t player base that plays why I tried to wanna keep playing planetside to but they want something new I mean the game is old and other than getting new weapons and white man nothings changed not really I mean they made it in a couple of new systems but what planet 52 nieces and entirely new revamped game maybe with some LBVE built-in something to do when you don’t feel like Mindless PVP people want the mechanics of planet side too but they want them updated in a new environment

Dude I love playing inside to but clearly you haven’t logged in in a while the player account is dismal in fact I deleted the game from my consul because every time I and I’m on PS4 by the way I don’t know what the player called is like on Xbox but I’ll wait outside even on Xbox and PC but on PS4 the player con is horrendous there’s not even enough players to open up a canna continent we’re relegated to fighting over Coulter So you know dirt you’re lucky if there’s 100 total players parking and I have a PS4 it’s a maybe on the weekends I need that game is about at the end of this road by bank it’s probably going to die out within the next six months
Dude New World isn’t just a PVE came back PVP is of a big damn part of the entire New World culture I mean the game is designed around conquest control of regions and for that matter still has open world PVP but you can simply elect just stay out of it which is our game should be design there should be consequences i.e. you turn on your BP switch your shin be able to turn it off for some. But conversely if you simply leave it on you should always be immune to PVP so those players I don’t wanna participate I could just leave the switch on and never participate those players 01 a devil have to make a decision do I really want to do this because I’m gonna be at Taco Bell for 30 days or something that keeps people from opportunistically turning it off attacking and killing someone and I’m turning it back on play the game like that wants a long time ago and it is pre-dated Ultima online if you use your thieves skills to steal or you attack someone your switch went off automatically and you couldn’t turn it back on For a while that was the karma and I’m top of that if you showed your face in town after murdering somebody regards to throw you in jail where you had the service of your time in jail I mean I forget how many minutes it was for each murder account it wasn’t onerous and there are usually other people there but it was a good system and I love that game the realm of it was called the realm and I think that game is still around with like several hundred active players any given day

Guild Wars 2 is fun so far (i'm new) if not a bit confusing when it comes to building your character, from what I can tell there are some pay to win shop items that give people an advantage to quite a few things, such as leveling, and even combat...but still fun, and you dont HAVE to buy anything in the shop unless you want to get more bag space.
Planetside 2 is...chaotic XD...its fun and so much action, but at the same time VERY repetitive, was very pay to win back when I played it, not sure if it still is though.
Albion Online, i dont mind the grind, it can sometimes be fun...nor do I have a problem with full loot open world pvp, it can suck yeah, but my problem is the Shop, being able to buy gold and turn it into silver to get gear quickly can fuck you over, however if you know what you are doing or you play with friends, you can still beat that person with better gear...so I suggest playing with friends.
In all honesty in Guild Wars 2 there is nothing in the shop to help you with combat. The only remotely close thing is the utility/food primer which will extend the duration of the in-game food up to 12 hours (it saves you to eat food for an efty high sum). But ... you enjoy the fascion wars, yes it's very much pay to dress.

I hate scaling in almost all its forms. Guild wars 2 looks nice but also like an absolute casual fest.
Not having downscaling is the casual choice because it makes lower level content too easy and pointless.
In GW2 you can be in a level 10 area with a level 80 character and still get wrecked if you suck and bite more than you can chew and aggro too many enemies in a crowded place, or thrash and army solo way faster than any other player could if you have the skill for it.
When you rely on having grinded more exp and loot than your own skill, that's the casual fest.
@@MithranArkanere It would take someone who's blind with 1 arm to die in GW2 in a level 10 zone as level 80. You may not get your full stats but you're still a lot more powerful than someone who's at the normal level for the zone.
albion online have a very bad servers ... my ping always above 150 ms ... so that made me stop playing it
Albion servers are pretty decent, but they are located in NA... If you are in EU ofc your ping will be higher, but for the game it is you can still do every type of content with that amount of ping. I was in the best guilds playing ZvZs everyday with that ping and it was never an issue.

They only have one megaserver so everything is hosted in NA, 150 ms is actually decent to play Albion, but zvz's will always be a laggy mess (And lets be honest zvz is shit content anyway )
@@ICZiman I played in the biggest ZvZ fights Albion has ever witnessed with 150ping. If i lagged was because my pc is trash and i have no SSD... I have friends with better pcs playing with the same ping, same situations not lagging that much.

Love Albion online. But I got killed and lost all my loot and rage quit, luckily new world came out a week later. Still salty about losing all my gear in Albion llolol

GW2 isn't underrated. It's just.... bland. Yes, the combat is amazing (not action though, it's hybrid) but there's barely anything challenging to do in it. When it comes to instanced content they abandon stuff left and right, PvP could very well be abandoned and the 3-4 balance patches they have in a year always introduce problems... that don't get fixed until months later. WvW is gonna get an update at some point in the (far I bet) future since it took them 3½ years to come up with a broken partial beta and the story is... teenage drama, just worse written. The only thing they actually bother with is open world events... aka groups or zergs of players VS already too easy AI. The game is where it deserves to be.
But the overall game is trash when you can play WOW :D
And farm endless gear grind for...what purpose exactly? Thanks for your input
