ABC SPORTS PRESENTS THE PRO BOWLERS TOUR GOOD AFTERNOON CHRIS SCHENKEL ALONG WITH MY PARTNER NELSON BURTON JUNIOR DANG I MISS THIS SHOW 3 0 CLOCK TO 4 30 PM
It started out as a bowling event on Wide World of Sports in 1961 that got good ratings, the Pro Bowlers Tour was their spinoff. Last over 30 years, the others ones were the American Sportsman which got spun off when Wide World covered a rattlesnake hunt and Superstars which were pro athletes doing Olympic style events.
Greg, here's an Edd Kalehoff song that would fit in your YT account...it's called 'Knock Wood', and it was, starting in 1991, the primary theme song for Labatt Blue Jays & Expos Baseball on TSN in Canada until 2009, when TSN no longer had the rights to Jays games. =P
With the late Chris Schenkel at the mic...

"WINNING NEVER GETS OLD!"
I want this music kept forever.
I have a feeling it will be.
I loved me some Professional Bowlers Tour on ABC! And this theme! Anyone who faced Walter Ray Williams Jr. in the championship match...BEWARE!
The GOAT...he was hard to beat on TV. My guy was Amleto Monacelli and Walter Ray got the best of him quite a bit.
@@manuginobilisbaldspot424 Williams was 2-1 against Monacelli in title matches.
My money is always on Pete Weber.
Jimmy Keeth did one time. Kicked his ass. lol
I was an Earl Anthony fan. He was the analyst on NBCs coverage of the PBA Fall Tour with Jay Randolph calling play by play.
Bowling was so popular on ABC TV during its heyday!

@@rockvilleraven They should bring _Wide World_ back for UFC events on ABC.
@@drewzuhosky6826 Disagree, it was a sports anthology show and that’s what I’ll always associate with it.
I am stunned. I am surprised anyone has it, and I never knew who composed it or what it was called. It really adds to my bowling experience.
Great memories of my youth.
This would've made a great Race Game cue if done nowadays.
Been looking for this song forever and a day. Thank you!
not gonna lie I've been looking for this for years. Thank you Greg!
With a bit of sax that's similar to the New York Rangers on MSG theme song from 1992-96 and 2000-06, also done by Edd Kalehoff.
I like KABC-TV.

NASCAR on ABC and the NBA on ESPN.
