Bro so browsing reddit I saw this in an ROG ally post. ~ "bought a I installed win10 on my ally+xg mobile and got a 15-30% boost in fps depending on game" I just bought the Silicon Power 4TB US75 Nvme as according to techpower up it runs the coolest, it just so happened to be the cheapest 4th gen drive as well. putting that in the ally-x tomorrow. 15-30% seems insane for just an OS swap. but I don't doubt windows 11 is total spyware garbage.
That may be true in older Windows 11 versions, but with 24H2, things seem to have turned for the better this time. I've seen recent improvements, and it feels more gaming-friendly than before 23H2. Also, AMD explicitly said that with this version, there's a special fix for all Ryzen CPUs, including the CPU the ally is using with the Z1 extreme. There was a long-standing bug (I'm not sure, maybe about admin account bug or power settings or something) that was hindering performance by a lot. This version seems to have addressed it on windows 11 I made a video a few days ago in case you haven't seen it. ruclips.net/video/AvkvFPBNCEw/видео.htmlsi=TPiQfWzGJ3cBbgSd I personally noticed a much snappier experience on my ally x and also 10 fps average in some instances. You need to make sure you have that version installed. You can check in the About Windows section; it says the OS version. I can't promise you, but I may attempt windows 10 versus this new Windows 11 24H2. However, I don't use third-party images of Windows due to security concerns, so if I were to use either of the two, it has to be the official version.
I have a NFC ring that stores some info. My skin kills Pogo pin style connectors super fast I have 5 smart watches and they are all dead thanks to the copper that oxides. I am tired of cleaning them and buy new Pogo pin connectors. Every single time I charge my smart watch I have to scrape the connector.
I don't think this ring will fail easily. It charges wirelessly from its charger case that can also charge it approx 1.5 times off cable, so you don't have to mess with any of those annoying pogo pins anymore. And it's water-resistant up to 10ATM IP68, so you can even wear it in shower. It's like a health-tracking gadget and it's way more comfortable to sleep with than a watch. I'm telling you, this thing is one of the best things to come out in a while, just my personal opinion but i sincerely feel it was worth getting it, if u are not fan of smart watches it can replace it for all tracking, battery life 6 days And BTW i also hate pogo pins too, they're very affected by sweat
