    As a Celtics fan I have to say I find a kind of irritating that everyone has to come on how easy it's going to be and how they're just going to destroy all their opponents and then if they lose a game suddenly they're not living up to their potential and they're soft. Maybe stop wagging your tongue about how easy it's going to be if you don't really believe it

    Cavs really tanked to win a R1 series then get stomped in R2. In all seriousness, I feel like this is a terrible outcome for the Cavs, not only is Mitchell probably going to leave, but Garland has been so bad this post-season that he's absolutely tanked his value in the case that you wanted to trade him and keep Mitchell in the rare case Mitchell stays. It's just all bad. Who's gonna want Garland when Caris Lavert has legit been more impactful.
    Similar to the Pelicans, you could argue they were better off just missing the playoffs with how much BI's value tanked in that series.

      @therealdarrell282 Месяц назад

      @@matthewobrien7326 It is the truth. Most fans are not a fan of the team, they are a fan of the name on the back of the jersey. The NBA has never promoted its small market teams. They tried with SA, but nobody liked the Spurs unless it was against LeBron. Does anybody talk about the Magic, Hawks, Pacers, Bucks or Nuggets, nope. The Hornets and Wizards are going to lose fifty plus games next season and the season after that.

    • @matthewobrien7326
      @matthewobrien7326 Месяц назад

      @@therealdarrell282 I’m not sure about all that. The NBA is absolutely a star driven league, but when stars are in smaller markets they get promoted. Look at Ant Man, Minnesota is a small market and he’s getting tons of run.
      That said, you need to have some ability to actually watch the games and have dispassionate analysis. It’s important. Because the league shouldn’t tear it’s hair out of the East finals is Pacers-Cavs. It’s a failure if they have to.
