For a critical care, self being a pensioner (under CGHS), had to visit wellness center for about 40 times in a year for procedural requirements. 2. Every one desires to seek consultation from the best Do c in the empanelled Pvt hospital. But Doc (system) refused to give give consultation alternative asked to come as paid patient or get appointment which is, in general, available after min one month. What is the use of this facility
Thanks Sir, our CGHS card should enter our children' s names by Adm Section as final payments should be given to them. And if a member is super senior citizen they should come to home n prepare the card. A copy of the card should be sent to Sparsh too. As if final payments are due they will be received without putting the reminders.

I observe that for CGHS pensioners , the hospitals charge a sum of Rs 5000.00 and more for the consumables as the cost is not included under the CGHS scheme. The hospitals do not give the list of consumables. What is the correct position?

I am a pensioner of a CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi) laboratory . Although, CSIR is not a central government organization but an autonomous body, it was constituted by a statute of Govt. of India and we follow all the rules and regulations of Govt of India. Employees and pensioners of Delhi based CSIR establishments are covered under CGHS scheme. My question is, are we the employees / pensioners from non NCR laboratories and settled at different places in Indis where CGHS facilities not available also eligible for the benefits of CGHS scheme? The most of the doctors of CGHS are working or sitting there like a computer analysts, I don't think they even have the first add kits, thermametor BP apparatus and to get the appointment is also next to impossible u have to wait for long if you Directly go to wellness center , you have to have the appointment on line, but what about the less educated n not having the computer facility or can't handle the smart phone, pl look into this situation. I am living in Ludhiana and there is no CGHS dispensary. I was retired on 31.12 .2002.Up to FEB.2013,I was living in DEHRADUN where I was enjoyingCGHS facility but due to wife's health problems,I had to shift from DEHRADUN to LUDHIANA .So I had to incur a lot of medical expenditure from my own pocket.I am also not getting any monthly remuneration for my medical expenses.Will you please let me know the way out topull on my medical expenses
Now also it is not easy to get this refund CGHS authorities now also refuse to pay the entire amount. They direct you to get the court’s order and then claim the entire amount : it’s not as easy as we think
Dental problem is not considered as disease and implantation is considered cosmetic surgery. Yet CGHS reimburses certain cost of dental trouble like route canal operation etc.
Central Government employees and pensioners get this healthcare benefits under a Scheme. In this particular case SC didn't decide the case within the purview of the Scheme,but on some extraneous consideration,whatever that might be. If everyone starts flouting the Scheme, then why should there be a Scheme at all! And,why central government employees should have such luxury of Fortis when poor people who pay taxes to employ these elites as their servants have no access to such elite hospitals in emergency? This case indicates how Rule of Law has been replaced by anarchy!

I am CGHS beneficiary but don't find this judgement fine. Right to life by getting proper treatment are not being honoured for hundred crores of population. On the other hand position of CGHS beneficiary are far better. Only thing for improvement in CGHS is that everytime going to CGHS dispensary for referral, should be removed.

I was retired on 31.12 .2002.Up to FEB.2013,I was living in DEHRADUN where I was enjoyingCGHS facility but due to wife's health problems,I had to shift from DEHRADUN to LUDHIANA .So I had to incur a lot of medical expenditure from my own pocket.I am also not getting any monthly remuneration for my medical expenses.Will you please let me know the way out topull on my medical expenses

Rghs card should be upgraded into CGHS Card
Now also it is not easy to get this refund CGHS authorities now also refuse to pay the entire amount. They direct you to get the court’s order and then claim the entire amount : it’s not as easy as we think

Dental problem is not considered as disease and implantation is considered cosmetic surgery. Yet CGHS reimburses certain cost of dental trouble like route canal operation etc.

Central Government employees and pensioners get this healthcare benefits under a Scheme. In this particular case SC didn't decide the case within the purview of the Scheme,but on some extraneous consideration,whatever that might be. If everyone starts flouting the Scheme, then why should there be a Scheme at all! And,why central government employees should have such luxury of Fortis when poor people who pay taxes to employ these elites as their servants have no access to such elite hospitals in emergency? This case indicates how Rule of Law has been replaced by anarchy!

I am CGHS beneficiary but don't find this judgement fine.
Right to life by getting proper treatment are not being honoured for hundred crores of population. On the other hand position of CGHS beneficiary are far better.
Only thing for improvement in CGHS is that everytime going to CGHS dispensary for referral, should be removed.
