Now the whole world knows that you have a lot of good food. Hope I could visit someday when all this virus is gone. Try out the places you visited. Stay safe and please don't eat too much. I enjoy it but health wise, don't think its good🙏
Lao food is my favorite. Everything you ordered looked delicious. Sticky rice and papaya salad is awesome! But that Lao Burger I never heard of. Sounds and looks delicious.
I think it’s just a burger with some Lao ingredients/condiments. The only thing that I can think of that’s even remotely close to a burger is khao jee pâté (Lao version of banh mi) and it’s more of a crusty sandwich. Anyways, that “Lao burger” does look good, tho.

Try “The Box” in Kirkland (close to where you live)! The burgers are so juicy and the salad is delicious! Joule in Wallingford also has amazing Korean fusion dishes. Highly recommend!
I got the Lao burger and Lao sausage from Taurus Ox for dinner tonight (they're ~2 blocks away) and they were both delicious. The burger was spicier than I was expecting, but that's a good thing. And the sausage was surprisingly crumbly, like there's no binder and just barely holding it's shape from the casing, so interesting that you don't even really need to chew it. US$14 is a bit much for a burger, but it was worth it (and a Bacon Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese from McD's is almost US$10, so not ridiculously more than that).
Lao jeow is the best! There are soo many varieties. The Thai, Lao and Hmong sausages are to die for! And Lao papaya salad has more fermented ingredients in it than the Thai ones. Soo much umami!
