I was just looking up to see if Joe Bonamassa had written this song. No, as a matter of fact, he didn't. Sam Brown did and sings the hell out of it. I'm sure Kevin Shirley told Joe "I got something you've got to listen to, sing this and throw a bunch of guitar all over it and it's gonna cook" or something like that.

Why did she never go on to be a superstar ? After this song came out she went on to tour with Pink Floyd and if her voice wasn't quality she would never have got that gig. The star that never was sadly.
