What a beast Thuram was in his prime - technique, physicality and finesse all in one. I will never forget his partnership with Cannavaro in both Parma and Juventus - they were absolutely rock solid together!
@franciscko javier Prefer Thuram and Cafu tbh. Does not mean I do not like Puyol - if this is a Top 10 list he will be there in the 7th place with Roberto Carlos in the 6th and Terry in the 8th.

Used to watch Parma just because of him, in some matches, he used to hold the whole right side of the pitch, defense and offense, never seen that before or after. Great, and IMHO, very underrated player.

@@theodormff4320 no chance mate. Thuram is one of the few defender who cound stop Ronaldo at his prime. Blanc on the other hand, has had a hard time marking Cassano pass by him. Thuram as a defender was near perfection
