Dr. Jones thank you, good message. At the beginning you said it is about the “journey to the destination” and many are trying to get to the next thing and not enjoying the journey. This is so true. This past week I was at a pool and two kids just walked in with their grandparents and not 5 minutes into their pool time, the boy was already missing the moment he was in because he realized it would come to an end. So, instead of playing and enjoying the moment he had, he spend the majority of it begging his grandma to stay longer, even though they weren’t leaving yet and making his sister feel bad because it was her cheer camp that was keeping them from staying longer. So, often I think God gives us moments through our journey like this, where He wants us to stop and swim in the pool if only for a short moment, enjoy and stop worrying about missing out on something better.
