I already bought the book and accessories yesterday but I was wondering if theirs a way to get the book with the special cover on it or are they all out?
Yes, I managed to pick one up a week or two ago, but I paid around $108 for it. Now, it’s going for about $10 minus shipping, and I’m a bit confused about that.
Before i start my opinion on this book, i gotta ask something! Do you remember if it tells you if Locke ever sells magic weapons? It says he refuses to, but at somepoint i know my party is going to want +1 weapons and such. We finished the first act and reading ahead i cant find anything on that. Been wondering if this is DM discretion. That asked, I love this book! Its great feeling represented by enby lads in this book too. As far as critique goes so far, some of the shops in act 1 feel like a bulk of their stock isnt very useful. The souvineer shop and petting zoo arent going to be places my players will revisit unless they have a mission there. The game "pin the flail on the donkey" feels unfinished. It doesnt explain what checks players need to make to get the donkey in the cage. I had to homebrew quite a bit to get it to work because I feel like it'd be far to easy for players to just have one member hang the carrot over the cage and get infinite money. Made it an animal handeling check = half the donkey's health with a min of 14. That all said, weve been loving it so far!
Hey, thanks for the comment! The book says that Locke does stock magic items that *tend* not to be combat-focused, but he does sell mundane weapons too, so I say you can definitely throw a +1 weapon in their occasionally. It's all on page 41. Good notes about the donkey game, I'll have to go back and reread that part, but I'm glad you all are enjoying the adventure overall!
I’m sure its a wonderfully well written campaign but personally I don’t find any appeal to carnivals or stuff set in them I know there’s a carnival domain of dread is this setting supposed to be that domain, a replacement, or something completely separate?

I'm a big fan of standees. It's really cool that those were made for this set.
I just got the delux box set for 10 bucks plus 20 dollar shipping on the shop app. I cant wait because i love both HGtMS and humblwood
Thank you for this video I've been researching this book but nothing is out there.
Glad to help. Let me know if you have any questions.

I don’t see it for sale on their website. You may have to find one on the aftermarket if you want the special cover.
I think they just started selling it again via the special edition box!

@@JulianVargas-bd7gg that's the price of the dice. Might be mislabeled or a glitch?
@@JulianVargas-bd7gg nope, went and checked. It's $10. Just ordered it lol.

@TheGallantGoblin I thought so! Just was phrased a little strange in the book and wanted to make sure I wasn't introducing them early. Ty!
Is this for 5e or 5.5?
It was made for 5e.

Its completely separate. Its a pocket universe created by the sorcerer Heckna.
