  • It's a new era for Reel Kiwi Fishing. Helping the guys from Osprey we put together something special. The all new 465SC is bigger and better in every way. Wider, roomier, softer ride and all the perks.
    Gen and I head out to christen the new Reel Kiwi Fishing rig on one of Auckland's Harbours where we get into some quality snaps and a few tasty carrots for the bin. My first time out in the new rig I was pretty impressed with everything about it. I'm looking forward to many more Reel Kiwi Fishing adventures in it so stay tuned and make sure you subscribe and hit that notification bell so you know when my next video is about to drop.
    Thanks to everyone that has subscribed and supporting my little channel, without you guys my channel is nothing...

    Lots of gurnard around at the moment. Last sat in 50m out of Tutukaka pulled 13 then 5 terakihi, then 4 snaps one 6 pounds then home 2 hours later. Spent longer filleting than fishing

      Nice work 🤙 Yep it's a fun day catching when they're on the bite but the filleting gets ya in the end...

      I wouldn't mind catching 1 to view - its sad our fish in our waters are starting to do some weird stuff...

    Mean bratha jas,awesome to see you out there with your sister, nice boat nice fish,bro I have a question,is tying braid different then tying nylon,is there different knots,or can you tye them the same,as in to braces and hooks

      It was a fun day with the Sis 👍 braid does slip a lot easier than mono so you have to make sure you tie a good knot - I normally just use a Uni knot as it ties over its self. I also double my braid so like a loop then tie the knot.

    I notice you don't bleed your snapper?

      @lifeliver9000 20 дней назад +1

      No need - I’ve tested bleed and un bleed snapper. No difference in the plate. Try the experiment. I’ve stopped ice snapper for same reason after experimenting and blind testes with mates from fish club. No difference

      No I just iki them and just keep my ice in the plastic bag, I don't do an ice slurry I just lay the fish on it - it stays cool in the bin and keeps them fresh.
