Helpful video. Question: Are the colored tips made with soft rubber or hard plastic?

My question is why do car detailing companies sell red or orange nozzle in their sets. a set of two nozzles would be cheaper.

MTM Velocci, been making them for years. Rubber tip(shroud/boot) degreed nozzle, only way to fly.

They have had a rubber boot nozzle solution for a few years now. Parts sourced from mosmatic. I bought the original. Looks like they have changed the nozzle design in that time as this nozzle tip has a different shape than mine does.
