It's pretty cool that they make a bunch of exclusive cards for the starter decks and at the same time give you a full playset of those cards so you are incetivized to buy them but only need to buy 1copy of each.
I am testing a Wind Lv3 Tonoris, Creation's Will champion and the Gather mechanic. Every turn you'll get 1 Aurosteel Greatsword constantly if you have Fertile Grounds on the field and at least 1 herb. Nurture Crops and Barter Herbs can get you 4 herbs and 4 Aurosteel Greatsword (if Tonoris is Lv3). I can also use the herbs to brew potions: Serum of Wisdom and Wildgrowth Elixir to draw cards to memory and make my allies bigger. "Gather" is to "summon" herb. Tonoris Lv3 is using this "summon" keyword to also summon Aurosteel Greatsword. It's fun to think that herbs can give you swords. :D
Awesome and very informative video. Question for the Foster keyword: you mentioned a unit can only be fostered once. So for the Imperial Recruit who gets plus 1 attack as long as she is fostered, does she only have that for one turn? Or does she remain fostered with the plus 1 attack as long as she doesn’t get hit?
This game is solid, but i worry it has the same issue as FaB. Its a really good competitive game with a ton of depth to gameplay and deck building. But its a bit rough barrier to entry for the normal casual. Its cool that this starter deck is so straight forward though. Excellent product.
I think innervate agility will be great in this. I was thinking of going back and forth between lvl 1 and 0 multiple times. Lvl up, cant hit my allies, lvl down, cant him my allies. And repeat.
So, i was trying to understand the rules regarding fostering. So does a unit become fostered at the start of the recollection phase, and simultaneously trigger its on foster effect, or does a new effect stack immediately begin after the unit becomes fostered? I was thinking you could, during your recollection phase, use the spell reclaim on a novice mechanist when it activates its 'on foster' ability to summon a token, and then recollect the cards you have just reserved for that reclaim AND get a token.
The only wind card worth over $10 right now is Beseech the Winds, and I personally wouldn't play that in here! So I'm glad the deck is more tuned to be a good gameplay experience. :)

The Fostered unit remains in the "Fostered" state until it leaves play, so the +1 will exist on the Recruit until she leaves play!

A shoe huh? I'll have to remember that one.

Are you going to be covering Diana's starter deck too?
TM32 did that video - linked at the end!
Are you guys going to do one of these vids for Diana?
TM32 covered Diana in the vid linked at the end!
Op games alike Yu-Gi-Oh with these tcg asap
I'm glad this wasnt released a week ago, otherwise I might have been disqualified for having an unfair advantage
Ohh! First!
Stolen from Maindeck Taylor! We love to see it!
Anyone have a deck list for it?
honestly shocked it took 3 sets to introduce taunt into the game since its such a staple mechanic in tcg's
Taunt isn't new to ALC, it was introduced in Set 2 :) but this is the first time we've seen it on a champion!
@@MaindeckGames really I must've missed it how did I buy 2 boxes and never notice it lmao

Kinda dissapointed with the deck, at least its fairly cheap but its kinda lame to not see some expensive wind cards from previous sets reprinted.
