- Anne Wanjiku thought she found the love of her life at an early age. She got married to her highschool sweetheart but he turned out to be her worst enemy. A few years into their marriage, he became violent and attempted to take her life not once. Anne tried to mend and maintain the marriage but failed and decided to chose her life and that of her two children. She left the her man and now she stands with other single mothers who have been in abusive marriages through her group, single and strong.

My take home, 'There is God of another chance' I can't agree more. Ann, you are very beautiful and never doubt that. I lived with a narcissistic person and honestly, some things, I can relate. Long story short, I am happy living alone with my son, I also do real estate, I sell apartments in kilimani and kileleshwa and I thank God for coming through for us.

Never let another person put you down with their words and I know it can be difficult especially when it's all you hear all the time but you have to feed your mind with what your father in heaven thinks about you and repeat it to yourself

What a beautiful ending, my mother was dark and very beautiful, her co-wife thought she slighter lighter which was equivalent to beauty...that is why she was able to get her sister's husband, not true at all, my mother's beauty was Mrs World Class. While I was attending college, the stepmother, said " let's face it I was the darkest girl in the house, so I would find it the hardest to get married" . In reality I am very beautiful. Ann I love your story and truly admire you for making the choice to get out the the relationship and starting again...n succeeding, ladies it can be done.
