- In order to do this DIY for replacing my dead battery, I had to use the MS4000 memory saver. The memory saver protects all of the cars computer components like, window operations, remote start, radio unit, tire pressure and any pertinent technology that makes the car operate smoothly. Me and my assistant had a good time changing this dead battery.

Be the Difference Clothing 😂😂
You said it looks used I hope it lasts and you want need another one later. ..you are a good one cause I know nothing about a car..no more than me getting in it and driving...lol...but I hear you also being couched by your assist..
Yessss the humble always seeks out guidance ... you already know Iam in the process of getting a brand new one
Nice job, lady!
Thank you kindly... it was fun
The unit itself doesn’t need to be plugged in to the A/C to use it, it has an internal battery and charging it is the only reason that you need to plug it in the wall. Once the battery on memory saver is charged, the only thing that you need to do is plug it into the unit to OBD-2 port.
I opened it that day..lol... but yes it was plugged in the OBD port and worked wonders... I had to use it again when the auto start battery went... you know the smaller auxiliary battery..
You did great
thank you kindly... thanks for watching
The port you plugged this memory saver too is called an OBD2 port
ok ok thank you kindly
Doing good 👍
That is one crazy set-up for a battery! What kind of car, if you don’t mind me asking?
Jeep compass
@@btdllc wow, that’s pretty wild. How’s the memory saver holding up?
@@MrRedHotChiliMan only used it 2x.. it's basically like a battery backup generator thing... they say with these kinds of cars the electronics can get damaged if you don't use the right tools... this is exactly what the dealer would use
@@btdllc oh yeah, for sure. I have to do that on my wife’s car, which is somewhat modern(2010 Acura tl). Last time I changed out the battery, I hooked cables up to my car and attached them to the cable terminals on her car. Then removed the terminals from her old battery, swapped it out with the new battery, and put the cables back on 👍
I have to say, yours is a much better and safer method. Is the one you have very expensive?
@@MrRedHotChiliMan wow that's a genius idea too.... are you a mechanic?
Awesome video JOY. Holy cow. What kind of car you drive that has that much crap on top of the battery? Lol. Keep the awesome content coming. Hope you have an awesome weekend. Much love
Lolo .... to funny Tim.. lol
@@btdllc Did you get your free OBD READER
@@timwindsor03 I it's in the mail.. yesssss...
@@btdllc AWESOME
We did it lol yassssss!!!
I know right.. lol
If your battery is already dead, the memory is gone.
Not true at all.... mine was dead and all the memory was restored with that memory saver
