Love this! I pulled all of my kids from school when covid started and saw physically what they were learning through that computer screen during lockdown. We are never going back! And yes, yes, algebra? My oldest does that through a fantastic online resource, same with chemistry. All good! Lots out there to help parents. The pastor at church that I use to attend s told the members about the salt and light BS. Well doesn’t that sound good to the blind sheep....he would also made jokes about homeschoolers. Being a homeschool mom for 10 years, I couldn’t leave that place fast enough. Of course they want us to just be drivers to all these places and take a back seat. Yes, we are encouraged to pay all the bills to clothe, feed , and drive them to the “experts,” as they get twice the amount of tax money from all the moms working while simultaneously brainwashing these children. I can’t count how many ppl told me, “Oh, I could never do that,” it was so cringeworthy. Love is what it takes, and I will say that next time.

System believes they own your kids. (Public school teacher). Unless a large group of parents join the the school council and Bend the admin to the will of parents, get them out. Public schools have individual personalities. One school I know is essentially a Jewish school in the public systems because Jewish parents targeted the school they want fir their kids. That could work for ORGANIZED christian parents.
At this point, we caution all parents to remove their children from public schools. Unfortunately, at this point, public schools have proven themselves to be completely unworthy of the trust of parents. From the failure of Common Core and the generally poor academic performance of public schools, to the dangers of school violence, to radical (even pornographic) CSE, to the deeply ingrained socialist and secular humanist philosophies being taught, there is really no excuse any more. In every area of culture we see the consequences of generations of students being taught to hate America, hate the traditional family, hate Biblical truth, and hate God in public schools. It's time for parents to wake up and take back their children. It doesn’t matter how many like minded parents get behind the scenes. I sat on the PEC at my children’s school with solid parents and anything that was even remotely threatening to the agenda was immediately kiboshed.
Christians should be so dedicated to home schooling according to the scriptures, that we fund our own non-communistic “food stamps” for families that have need in this situation.
This breaks my heart. I have been trying to pull my kids from the school system for the last 4 years but my husband will not let me. I feel trapped between 2 worlds.
My husband was the same. I asked him if I could try for just 1 year and that it wasn’t permanent 😉. After some convincing he agreed, I guess because of Covid. And now, omg...he sees the fruit of homeschooling and is completely on board!
@@kariepw6792 don’t give up! Someone on RUclips said that her husband agreed if she try it over summer. Then he saw the benefits and agreed for the 1 year trial, never looked back since. Something to think about?

Yes! Same thing happened to us. Covid has be a sneaky blessing bc we will never go back to public school. I’m even tutoring our co-op next year!

I refused to public school my kids. My daughter is starting K4 on Aug 1st. We are home schooling!
