Arigatooo for watching my video as always! Covid-19 and Rainy season team, still can't stop me making videos!! Ganbarimaaaaasu !!😆 "Katameru Tempuru" (make oil solid Japanese powder on U.S. Amazon) ➔ amzn.to/3fkmG9B You might like my First Day of Universal Studios Japan After Covid-19 video too, surprisingly less people ➔ ruclips.net/video/ozkPa4r3L-M/видео.html😊 Please stay safe, healthy, and happy! Have a great day!! Gaooooooooo🦁👍
Thank you so much for the link! Love your USS video! I was supposed to visit Osaka in May but my trip was cancelled due to Covid-19. That video made my day! I feel bad that you didn't get to play any rides because you had to introduce the entire park to us! (*/ω\*)
I am watching your videos for the past 4 days. Thank you for your content, I feel like I am in Japan again and I learned a lot about Japan. Please keep it up! You are doing awesome!!!!!
I took a “Japanese Food & Culture” class as an elective back in college and our professor had us read this textbook which talked about the importance of eating every grain of rice. The explanation was that each grain had like a “spirit” inside of them (lol) which is why we have to respect them by eating them properly…
No worries Rion! Don’t be in a hurry to rush with new vids, make it at your own convenience. With the Covid problem and all, please prioritize safety. By the way, I was amazed at the product you used to make the used cooking oil solidify into gel! What product is that? Could you help post a link and other info plus where to buy it? These sorts of things that Japan has is actually helpful for people like me. I also like the cooking segments of your videos. Maybe you could make a video how to make condiments like sushi/shashimi sauce, tempura sauce and your different types of pickles for curry and other dishes?
Hey Rion! Hello from New York! I just discovered your channel! I really like your style. You’re just so helpful and friendly. Everything I’ve seen looks really authentic, and I’m getting a real hometown flavor of being there from you, like you are a friend I knew in college! And I really like how you show the prices and put stuff back if it’s too expensive! I like the way you talk about the stuff you eat and I get a real idea of how people in Osaka are from the way you talk about food. I’m surprised you don’t have a million subscribers yet! Keep up the good work! Good luck!
Hi Rion, just to let you know i love your video and photos ,and the way you talk that always very excited that can make viewer finish your video without skipping! really enjoy watching your videos!
These cooking videos are my favorites. Also, your pronunciation of L is very good and getting better. You should have heard the room full of Americans in my Japanese classes trying to pronounce the re-ri-ra-ru-ro sounds properly. The challenges go both ways!
Cool yummy video again Rion-san! Thank you! ^_^ Gotta add to our list of packed foods to buy in Japan those spices you said and Mirin too! Whenever we go to Japan, we always stock up on curry blocks (the curry box in 6 mini cubes) to cook Japanese curry back here in Europe ^_^ that "matcha something" is so "do not judge a dessert by it's look" (but we say the inverse here in France) lol ^_^ Thank you Rion-san Gambatte!
Rion, you are doing the very best you can considering the situation and of couse now your weather! The vlogs are still interesting and still very worth watching! Stay safe! Arigatou!😄🇯🇵⛩
I would agree with you about the Taiyaki. I've eaten the crispy and hot Taiyaki's in Kyoto and its really super tasty ("meccha oishi"). I would prefer it especially during the cold winter. It really suits the atmosphere. Stay safe as always.
Yes, it's really useful! Hope you can find the powder there with good price, cause sometimes Japanese stuffs can be so expensive in other countries... 😅haha
It's really convenient to watch your videos. Mainly because you're a local youtuber and got really fluent English! However I wish they lift the travel ban as soon as possible. Can't wait to explore Japan! 😍
Love watching your videos, with your sunny smile, cheerful disposition, sweet charismatic face, and very entertaining presentation of your vlogs, i was hooked ever since! My brother too, he always watches your videos. More videos, more power! Stay safe.
We need more of this cooking and shopping vlog... Plus please make recomendation about food stall or anything interesting around those supermarket area! 🙂🙂🙂
“Belly , not berry 😂” I love how you clarified it. Also thank you for the facts about eating the rice when being invited into someone’s home. I think that’s a good thing to you for someone like me who is trying to learn Japanese culture and traditions. I love all your videos. They make me so happy.
I like watching your videos.. it was my first time to travel in Japan last year specifically to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka from Canada..🙂 I really want to come back again after COVID.. Thanks for having good video content! 😊 Keep up the great work!
Welcome to another episode of “Another attempt of Rion trying to conquer spicy food.” At least it was manageable. 😆 I’m loving your cooking videos and the fact that they are longer now. Be safe on the rainy days Ri-kun!
appearance wise, I'm already drooling for your cooked Karaage. I'm crying now to taste it T.T Thank you for sharing the ingredients. I'll try to look for that ingredients here in the Philippines hehe
Your karage turned out good. Not burnt at all. I think the dark color came from the spicy marinade and chili in your breading. I'm glad you enjoyed your meal. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe, healthy and happy...
I think you should make more of this type of content. Market finds and cooking in Japan! Great and interesting! Love from the Philippines! Cheers! Sugoi!
Hi.. I found your channel recently and enjoyed watching your videos. I love Japan and been there for 6 times, hopefully next year I can go again after this pandemic is over. If I may suggest, maybe you can consider to make some videos about your opinion (or street interview) about recent news/issues/entertainment industries happening in Japan such as Miura Haruma, Higashide or Tokyo Olympics being postponed. I know maybe it's not related with your current genre, but I found it hard to find the videos about that from the Japanese perspective and I'm pretty sure many people are interested about it too. Thank you
Nice video Rion! Watching you ate those foods make me hungry! In terms of rice, i think it is more on culture, in Indonesia, it is also the same. It's not polite either to put some food on your plates and some elderly will say the same thing 😎
I love your vlogs Rion. I count down every saturday for you to uploads. Your english is sublime and topics very interesting. Thank you so much and best wishes from Perth Western Australia
The thing that makes the oil solidify is such an amazing product~ I hope I could buy it from my country :3 Don’t worry Rion-san we will always wait for your new videos~! Health is a priority and always keep safe~! 🐯
Rion, thank you for your review about Life supermarket. Can you make a video only for supermarket or convinience which make a discount in spesific time? (Tips and trick) it’s very usefull for the foreigner who want to visit Japan in a tight budget 🙏😊
Rion you are such a positive person. I always smile while watching your vlogs. I like the music you use in your video. Can you tell me the title and the artist of the song when you are going to the supermarket.

Hi, Rion, I love to see your cooking. In the US, we will usually filter the cooking oil and use it a few times, depending on what we are cooking, rather than discarding it after one use. So maybe we will do a vegetable, then a meat, then a fish, and then discard. Is it normal to use oil in Japan for only one cooking?
Hello John ^^ we usually reuse the oil as well, but I just wanted to show the "tempuru" powder too😊
Even in malaysia we reuse the oil 3 times top but before storing the oil, we must strain it first..but never mix the oil frying fish and meat..so 2 storing pots with strainer ..hope it helps
All the best!
Thanks for taking us to the supermarket Rion... LOL@ the thumbnail! Nice karaage recipe, first time I’ve noticed it pronounced Kara age before 😋... I thought you might have coated the pork belly and fried it as well? Would it have been suitable? The oil, in Australia that small amount we would probably keep and reuse especially after just one cook... but you made me soo hungry.... loved the humour 😆 cheers Rion!
