Sounds right out of 18th century Sturm and Drang ! Excellent composition. I can't imagine making an orchestral composition. If anyone told it was an undiscovered work by Herschell I would've belived.
fun stuff... love the horn call and then so nice when it returns at the end of the exposition... also love the sly imitation in the violas (bars 22-23)... very deluxe
Congratulations on your work! It is a very good composition, close to classical forms (from the 18th century?). What software do you use to compose? I'm already subscribed. I'm also a composer and I'm working on my first symphony. If you're okay with it, I'd like to share some drafts with you... I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions.
I'm a horn player, I've never seen a horn in D-flat. It would have to be a special non-standard crook. Haydn used horn in E and A for his F# minor symphony. Also there is no A "alto", there is only one A crook. B-flat and C have alto and basso.
Congratulations on this masterpiece! I enjoyed especially the finale. every motif brought joy to me. I just started composing and i am a beginner. do you have any tips? i have a work posted on my channel. Thank you so much for posting!! hope to hear from you soon!
How long have you been composing? You are very good! I am new to your channel(yes, I subscribed!😀) So far I've listened to your Symphony in A Major. I am 16 and have been "composing" for a few years.
As a Composer myself I think many youtube composers suck and are really uninteresting and mediocre, Your works standout here, your classical output is both original and Stylish, good work, you got a new subscriber!, im more drawned to a late romantic style, yet, for a moment i thought i was hearing Haydn, that says something abput the quality of your compositions!
@@CostasCourtComposer Sir You're a great composers. Composing a symphony is huge difficult. In modern times you're a genius. Actually that sounds like the dialogue of a villain in orchestral accompaniment like Opera Drama.

The whole piece is beautiful. The melody of the minuet has especially captivated me.

Nice job ❤
Thanks a lot!
Fantastic work Kostas!
Thanks Henry!
C# minor is a very cool choice of key. Sort of forces one to use the D flat horn!
Yes!

He also used a F Sharp crook for the third movement of the symphony no45.! Yes there is a D flat crook it's not that common of course.

Excellent. If I were you I would use a whole note to end the symphony. Otherwise one of your best works)
Thanks!
This symphony reminds me of Haydn/Mozart, who, based on my experience, barely used whole notes to end orchestral pieces.
I can hear an opera at 6:25
I love opera!
