just Jones yes and while many thought he was all wrong for this role and his singing was off, we have to remember he and all the other singers all sang live for this movie. No overdubbing. No studio soundtrack. One take only. Personally I thought they were brilliant.

You do know that Hugh started in musical theatre before he moved to movies, right? He's done musicals in between movies also. He's classically trained in music and theatre, winning a Tony for A Boy From Oz.
He was in musical theatre before becoming an actor and has combined the two a few times (Jean Valjean in Les Miserables and PT Barnum in Greatest Show)
IMO this was better than the movie scene! You should check out Jonita Gandhi - Dil Diyan Gallan next! She's a Canadian who was trained in Indian classical voice while training in western classical as well, and can hear both her styles in her cover of Angel/Lag Ja Gale

whats wrong with this coach he is an vocal coach but havent seen jackman in the les miserables our in the broadway who is essential to movies with music. jackman has also won tony awards
He is a pretty good singer but he is not as good as Whitney, Christina, Mariah and Celine but no one can match them any ways. I think he is around a current Jennifer Lopez level or Taylor Swift.

For some of you who may not know Huge took a great risk in singing in the movie his vocal cords were damaged during that time
dont think they were damaged. he had an operation for his skin cancer and was told he couldnt sing cos of the stitches but he did anyway
