Allis Chalmers 190XT dyno test

I put my completely restored 1967 Allis Chalmers 190XT on the dyno a few weeks ago. 112 Hp on a totally rebuilt engine and new turbo. Originally 94 Hp from the factory.

We owned two of them, one did 110 hp new on the dyno
, the other 106 hp. Stock 4020’s ran an hid when they were working!

I will say that open platform with open straight pipe exhaust was hard on a hangover one morning pulling a chisel plow.

I love the straight pipe right of the turbo sound!! I run a 1967 190XT on a 6 row Mathews corn shredder, And that old girl sings in heavy stalks.

i don,t know how ac madethat little power plant to hold up but that was a good one to bad the back sidecwas weak but nobody bats 100 all time

He listed it in the information heading, she is putting out 112hp on fresh rebuild.... Tractor came from factory at 94hp.....
