Keeping the graphics this time made it more visually interesting. Was also a change from your usual style so it was cool to see something a little different. Love how it looks and Toby seems to like it too. Thanks for sharing!
Ben, there is a much better way to remove the glue residue that will save a ton of time and effort. There is a product called Bestine which is a rubber cement solvent. It will dissolve that glue residue with little effort and it is mild enough that it will not harm the painted surface below. It's even mild enough to take stickers off of your car without hurting the paint. I've used it for years and it's a game changer when it comes to removing adhesives like that. I looked and you can get it on Amazon. Give it a try!
Great video! I definitely recommend getting some type of front rack to support the bottom of the crate, on the small chance the top strip of skateboards somehow gets loose and comes off. Wald has something called a "pizza box front basket" that should work and is pretty discreet if you do happen to be looking. And you could always modify it to make it less noticeable.
Awesome project. I've been ridding with my dog in a front "basket" for years now (Toby looks super chill too). I would recommend using some front axel mounted stays to support your crate. Wald is an old school American-made brand that sells hardware just for this purpose.
Hey Ben, my daughter (age 5) and I watch your videos every night before she goes to bed and after reading a book together. Tonight she asked if we could send “the rainbow carpentry guy” a message. She wanted to say to you: “We really like watching your videos. Thank you! 🤗🐣🐥 💝” Love your work - cheers mate! John and Sia from Australia 🇦🇺
Love the mix of graphics. It's got a kinda Marvel movie intro vibe... you know, a comic book box might be cool... Voice-over was great. Look as long as we can hear your passion, (which you nailed btw) I think most folks should be golden with it... Bonus for throwing in a WOOOOOO! for us too😉
Try deep freezing the boards for about an hour to remove the grip tape. It should eliminate all the residue from heating it and you won’t need any chemicals. You have to work fast. Good luck. Lovein all the repurposing keep it up 👍🏻
Love the video. The voice-over totally works (keep it up). We can see and follow the instruction. Good graphics. I will check out skill Share to see what they offer. How old is Toby? Lucky Dog.
Pretty nice, only thing I think I would add is some cushioning around the top, so the little guy doesn't get bruised if you have to make a quick stop. I also like the voice over, but I also liked the talk and do also. I imagine the voice over is easier to produce since you don't have to reshoot any flubbed audio takes.
Very cool crate. I could take it or leave it on the voice over. You do you boo! But I also thought I would suggest an Eraser Wheel. It is available at autobody supply stores. It’s used to pull adhesive from tape and vinyl graphics off of cars. Put it in your drill and it will speed up the removal of the glue. Then you can follow up by wiping it down with the Goo Gone. Hope this helps.✌️❤️🤘
Ben awesome job. Very nice and really cool design. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep making. God bless. Woo-hoo.
Great job, Ben! You always come up with some really cool ideas using your skateboards. I can't wait to see what else you come up with. Thanks for sharing. Felix
The box looks great. I like the look with the graphics but I'm sure if you sanded them down it would look cool too. Your voiceover was awesome, I hope you keep doing them but even if you don't I'll still be watching. That e bike looks sweet too!
Bro the voice over is fine you know people like to joke they can't understand English but people who speak English can't even speak English. 📡👽🇺🇸 RUN!!!😁🧙♂️🛸
Nice video nice job. But there are so many sponsors or ads this video. For me a bit too much total boat, the bike, skill share. You could ad even more, rockler, your face mask and don’t forget north vpn.
Hello. To get off sticky layer use gas/petrol. I dont know how correct to say in english. Early I used gas for lighter, but it expensive. Now I buy petrol in any hardware store. Just try. Sorry if I made mistake, it's not my native language.
Love the video! Such a cool concept! Wish it was easier to get a bunch of used skateboards so I could try this because your work is so inspiring! Since you said you weren't sure what to do with the grip tape, I had a random thought, but would it be worth it to fold the grip tape back on itself and try to use it as sandpaper for future projects? Or maybe attach it to wax paper to try to save for another project in the future! If it's too much effort to save it though then I don't blame you for tossing it
There's plenty great attachments you could use for your crate that should not cost much, there's even some systems from the likes of Ortlieb or Klickfix systems plus a couple others that could even make it easily detachable if you like that option. I'm confident you can find something similar from Bontrager or some other decent brand if those german brands aren't much available close to you. Main issue you have here is it's leaning a bit on the one safety thing you never want to tamper too much with : your front brake. Even just slightly bearing on the caliper like that is not ideal and can lead to issues on a future ride. Those attachments would easily prevent that from ever happening. I know, some are a bit bulky and quite ugly to be honest, but that is sometimes the little price to pay for a much greater peace of mind. Also, i kinda liked that format, bit of a change with that voiceover, i thought it fitted particularly well on the shots were you showed the designs on the boards before and after having cut them to size, transitioned smoothly to the construction part. Love the final look of that crate as well.
as an fulltime bike mechanic, I can ensure you that mounting this to your handlebars is not save. handlebars are made of aluminium these days. and they don't warn you, they snap. that's why children seats are no longer attached to handbars. they are mounted to the steering column with special brackets
HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT THE VOICEOVER?!
find it very good!
I thought it worked pretty well. Not that much different from your usual narration, so it didn't feel too jarring.
I liked the voice over format!
Good choice!
Thumbs up

Does it require ventilation? If so, remember he's in a small workshop.
@@novacaino it’s not bad. Really no worse than acetone or lacquer thinner, in my opinion it’s even milder.
Too cool, thanks for sharing 💕🤙🐶🐾🌭
Liked the voice over. That would make a sweet record holder too (although your dog is way cooler than any records)
Great video!

The first step is gold! Without the foldable staircase there would be no crate whatsoever!
yeahhh .. lets go!
Love the mix of graphics. It's got a kinda Marvel movie intro vibe... you know, a comic book box might be cool...

Excellent as always. Crate is cute. The Woo! on the end was great.
“First I use the foldable staircase” hahaha I love it.

I was just thinking that. Also i've had good results with Acetone, but not sure how it would react to the board graphics.
Dude, you're on another level with that spray booth idea!
Love this idea. Toby is a lucky guy!
And i really liked the voiceover style of this video. I approve of this new style. Cheers from BC, Canada.
I like that you kept the graphics on for this one. It came out awesome! Hope your dog loves it! Voiceover style was great.
Love the video. The voice-over totally works (keep it up). We can see and follow the instruction. Good graphics. I will check out skill Share to see what they offer. How old is Toby? Lucky Dog.
I really enjoyed the voice over. It was very informative and nice to learn all the details of your process
The voice over turned out great!
Toby is gonna be riding in style. Voice over was good dude

Very informative voice over. I highly support this.
This would be one amazing vinyl album crate
“Fan-Damn-Tastic”……gotta love it!
Love the bike and crate. Why not make a two person canoe? Something different but cool to see
Very cool crate. I could take it or leave it on the voice over. You do you boo!

Toby. We need more Toby.
Very nice! Has a comic book feel to it!
Great project and the voiceover was excellent too. A lot less echo that way. I did miss the "Whoos" though!!
I’m loving the bicycle themes 👍🏻
voice over was totally excellent and useful!
Awesome! Love the graphics on this one. Also VO was great.
Invest in a handle bar rack that will support your crate. Its the investment that will pay off, safety first when in comes to precious cargo.
Ben awesome job. Very nice and really cool design. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep making. God bless. Woo-hoo.
This would’ve paired nicely with the fixie you built!
Розы гибнут на газонах, пацаны - на авентонах!
Great video, keep it up!
The voiceover is GREAT!
Really like the voiceover. You get a lot more info. Thanks
It was a nice change. Voice over was nice as well
The crate looks so cool! Kinda has MCU movie intro Marvel logo vibes, but yeah very cool!
This project is sick
Love the voice over, great lesson!
Awesome video! Awesome project! A front rack to put it on would make it perfect! 👌
New drinking game... take a shot every time Ben says "Strip"
Loving the voiceover, dude. Mega upgrade
Cool build! I would make a bracket to attach it to the bike, though. The voice over is fine!
Thank you so much for the helpful voiceover! I’ve been wanting to make one of these since you posted it on Instagram!
voice over was great. little different but good. happy editing.
Great job with the video and narration. Super rad crate, well detailed. Mahalo for sharing! : )

Great video. I liked the voiceover work you did. The crate came out awesome.
I think you just gave Tobi a heart attack on that final whoo
Love this project and the voiceover was pretty enjoyable.

Another great video. I like the voice over. Informative and cool to hear what you're thinking. Thanks!
You definitely need one of these for your skateboard bike
Great job, Ben! You always come up with some really cool ideas using your skateboards. I can't wait to see what else you come up with. Thanks for sharing. Felix

The apple crate is so freakin cool! I gotta try and make one. Good job on everything sir!
The box looks great. I like the look with the graphics but I'm sure if you sanded them down it would look cool too. Your voiceover was awesome, I hope you keep doing them but even if you don't I'll still be watching. That e bike looks sweet too!
Voice over was cool bro!
Super rad! Very informative!
😂😂😂How the dog sits in there😎👍👍
Really cool build, Woby! :)
Ingenious. 📡👽🇺🇸 RUN!!!
Whoa didnt sand the graphics off, sick!
I’m making a speaker face out of recycled skateboards to match the pencil cup I bought from you in 2019
Very cool. Love your work. Your videos are extremely good too.
Love the project, toby looks so cool
Bro the voice over is fine you know people like to joke they can't understand English but people who speak English can't even speak English. 📡👽🇺🇸 RUN!!!😁🧙♂️🛸

Making this for sure
Look into Jack The Bike Rack for a better mounting system. Cool build 👏
Yo brother!!
Missed your Energy in the voice-over... You need to add your signature woooooow in the voice-over!!
Nice video nice job. But there are so many sponsors or ads this video. For me a bit too much total boat, the bike, skill share. You could ad even more, rockler, your face mask and don’t forget north vpn.
Don't forget Raid Shadow Legends and Raycon xD
i know my man Hecz loves these vids
for the bottom "problem" you can make a piece of wood to connect on the frame
Love the voice over btw
Voiceover 🔥
As always throughly enjoyable and entertaining Wooooooo!
Thank you for this video!! Definitely want to try it out! You are very inspiring!

Use isopropyl.... 90% works instantly for the grip tape residue
Awesome video my friend, but that first wooooo came to late into it !
Voiceover is Go!
Loved this video. The voice over was great! Do you have uses for the rounded or curved parts? Just curious
Thumbs up for the VoiceOver

if would be cool to see a grip tape and Epoxy project to use 100% for a board.
Would you consider repurposing the grip tape on the steps of your stairs?
Nice vid man 👍🏼🇸🇬
