This is one the best BrickFilms ever. I remember watching this several years ago and just thinking of the talent put into it. I think you could have included the age of exploration in the 20s, like the Adventurers or Pharaoh's quest (which wasn't out yet.)
I watched that without audio and it was incredible! The cinematography, lighting, and editing were all top notch, not to mention the animation. Excellent work! I'm going to watch that again!
Un freakin believable that was the best camera work I have seen in a brickfilm! Your cinematic moves while mini figs were in motion were outstanding. Bravo, u obviously put an enormous amount of work in this. Again, stellar work. Every one should take notes!
Wow! That was one of the best brick films i have ever seen. it's hard to find youtube users who know what they are doing with a camera, a computer, and some Legos! 17/10!!!
OMG! this is like one of the best lego videos ever! It talks about the history of the world and of course lego! how civilization evolved. I can't believe there would be such people who can't even do a 30 second long or proper brickfilm who would dislike this!! you can only brag if your perfect
Words simply can't discribe how cool this howl thing is, the minifigs, the sets, the timing, the camra angles, all of it is simply brilliant! 5 stars, big time!
best one yet nathan. i always new someone would eventually do a lego stopmotion with real moving camera angles. thats why this vid made me subscribe to you. awesome job!!!!
The following is a list of the events that happpened: 0:23 stone age 0:34 Stonehenge 0:46 Ancient Egypt 0:54 Greece or rome 0:58 Dark ages 1:05 Feudal Japan 1:13 Exploration 1:16 Marco Polo 1:20 Vikings 1:30 Middle Ages 1:34 Rennasance 1:42 Martin Luther's 91 Thesis 1:49 Shakspear 1:54 Newton discovers gravity 2:05 Pirates 2:12 Wild West 2:18 Industrial revolution 2:21 30's 2:31 WW's 2:37 Moon launch 2:50 Hippie rave 2:53 Today 3:13 Minifig Collection 3:26 1st minifig
This has to be the number 1, best Brickfilm I've ever seen! I'd give it 100/10. An excellent story, smooth animation, and good muisc. This makes my Brickfilms look like they were done by a someone who never animated before. I like the reference the Charlie Chaplin film "Modern Times", you captured my favorite era of the 20th century very well. One question though, the scene that starts where the car is going through the carwash, was that the 80's/90's or the present?
And 10 years later, another channel takes on the liberty of celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Minifigure, which is me and maybe other people as well
Lets see here: Stone Age, Egypt, Greece, Sparta(?), Ancient Japan, Galileo, Middle Ages, Leonardo daVinci, Martin Luther, William Shakespeare, Sir Isaac Newton, Pirates, Cowboys, Charlie Chaplin, Dance floor, D-Day, Lunar Landings, Woodstock, and the modern day. I think that covers almost everything.
Oh my gosh man. This is crazy good Nathan! How do you manage to do all of this work! You're the best Nathan! Then I guess that's why they call you Nathan Lord Of The Lego Wells. :)
Ole Kirk Christiansen came up with the name Lego from the Danish leg godt ("play well") and the company grew to become the Lego Group( "leg godt" coincidentally means "I put together" in Latin).[2] His eldest son Godtfred Kirk Christiansen took over the company after his death and bought out his three brothers in 1960. THIS MAN HAS CHANGED OUR LIVES
I first saw this on Gizmodo, thought it was pretty cool (especially the Ancient Japan part and the Baroque part) that I kept rehearing it again and again..
You know, Nathan was able to sneak his minifigure in some slides, like in the castle scene with the king and quen, he was the one on the far left of the table. You can see him eating a chicken leg. Hes also watching William Shakespeare.
Wow, I used to watch this when I was like 8. Incredible to see again, well done.

OMG! I never realised that 2:17 was supposed to be Charlie Chaplin in Modern Times!
Can we appreciate the fact that he included Arabia and Japan between 500 and 1500 instead of just showing the European middle ages ?
