Found an island south west of your base. NPC’s are alerted with the MGS sound effect and you get a wanted rating. The Venn diagram of game ‘influences’ is huge.
Incredible game. The problem is there is so many games out all the time, it’s genuinely difficult to give them enough time. It’s actually kinda sickening how many there are.
The discourse around this game is ridiculous. I wish the people that think the game is immoral would spend literally 5 minutes googling what they're saying but I guess that's the internet. I can't wait for the overarching narrative to change and for no one to admit they were wrong, take down their comments, or apologize. There are plenty of reasons to not like this janky, early access, derivative, survival crafting game but "these kind of look like Pokemon so it's actually evil' was not on my bingo card. Why are so many people going out of their way to try and defend Nintendo like they aren't one of the most litigious game companies in the world? I promise they don't need your help. I don't know how people claim to like games and say that they want to support developers but also act like they want video game mechanics patented and want to gatekeep who's worthy of using existing ideas. It's embarrassing.
a very rare desire to express disrespect to noclip among a lot of cool things you do. the other one i can remember is probably your mick gordon take about 'he says'/'she says' while there were literally proofs and receipts and mails with you just omitted and joked around it.
yeah this kinda feels like jumping on a bandwagon for clicks more than anything. this game looks terrible. interesting, in a way, but terrible nontheless.
For what it's worth, I have played a bunch of Palworld and will be offering a very critical perspective of it on this week's Noclip Crewcast. However, I think it's important to distinguish between possible interpretations of what you mean by "plagiarism." Is this game nauseatingly derivative, as many of Pocketpair's games seem to be? Yes. Did they steal assets? I have not seen any compelling evidence that suggests so. But there's a lot to criticize beyond that topic of discussion.
Sorry to tell you... but you can actually catch the NPC people too!
I have since confirmed this. dear lord
Can you also put them to work on an off-shore military installation like MGS 5 haha
(20:20) Apparently, you can capture humans, but the game tells you it’s "frowned upon". 😉

I caught my pals trying to unionize.
Time to make an instructional video
NoClip Quick Looks are fastly becoming my favourite way top see new games. That OG GB vibe feels so good!
If all I got from this entire video was the name "Cluckhold" that would have been enough
Frank is so good at hosting these, always coming up with the good questions !
a truly fascinating product.
Don't understand this game but everyone seems to be having a blast playing it.
The Viva Piñata reference has brought back good memories. Excellent sleepy afternoon game.
I don't often get into crafting games but dang has this one totally sucked me in. It's SO good.
Lmao "whatever the fuck that is."
"Was there one named fuck?"
I'm about this video. Good lord.
Also plays like Fortnite with a bit of Horizon Zero Dawn
This game seems like a real good way to get turbo sued. Fair play to whatever team put this together.
"You can't patent ideas"
\*Shadow of War/Mordor has entered the chat*
"Now why do they call it a quick look"

It makes me sad Pokémon had to stagnate for so long.
I just hope this.makes Nintendo actually try to innovate for a change. This game is everything I wanted from an open world pokemon game.
Like PES if you squint then all the teams and players are correct and not just misspelt slightly
So... What's the over/under that someone is gonna develop a sex mod for this game sooner or later?
How many days till nintendo cucks it with the court?

Pal world says free Palestine, and I'm here for it, hahaha
Video game junk food.
Unfortunate to see NoClip giving this hollow plagiarism another platform.
lmao
You can dislike the game without accusing it of plagiarism, you really think Nintendo would let this thing exist if it was actually plagiarism?
the pokemon company is not going to pay you for defending it

It's not a flattering look to be so upset about someone else doing something similar and arguably better. 😉
