GUYS. It's honestly been a dream of mine to go to the LUSH factory. I'm so glad I was able to film it and share it with you guys. I honestly don't know why they let me in there because I broke like 5 things. But it's all good. AND don't worry everything we touched/made was not product for stores :)

This is really cool, but it kind of bothered me how no one had their hair up..

Even though it's not food, they are around machines and are making things that go on your skin. If you find a hair in your product that you paid money for, it's gross.

Their hair not being pulled back or wearing hairnets really bothers me
I'm a little concerned with the lack of hair nets. Hair dragging in the products and being over it loose I'm shocked there are none with hairs in them.

+Alycia Drake - I know, I just found the hygiene standards of a large company like Lush rather interesting! I didn't claim that it was going to make anyone sick, I was merely trying to state how peculiar I found the scenario. And you're right - it probably won't make anyone sick. I was merely making a surprised remark.
+Alycia Drake it's not a matter of getting sick from it. They're hygiene products, which are suppose to be completely free of dirt/hair, and have higher standards than food (eg. They find a a piece of hair in a shampoo sample and the whole batch has to go into the bin, because it's not clean anymore)
True - but ever consider that they're not wearing hair nets because they're going to be promoted on a video and want to look well presented? I'm assuming that MIGHT be the case?

I totally agree, I am actually beyond surprised and beyond shocked.. Hhmm. Very percentage about having all of the kids wearing the shoes exedra but no hair on it make any sense does it KT? although, thinking about doing a little less shopping right now, that’s how I ended up watching the vid... I go to hospital at least everything you weeks sorry not every few for one week out of every eight weeks minimum - so I have so many little tiny bottles etc and I’m thinking a shampoo/ conditioner bar might just save a bit of money.. I think I used one years ago ? Cheers

I guess since it's not a food product for consumption it isn't required or Canada just has different rules, but that's just gross. I wonder if they do the same when making their lotions and stuff . . .

Forever Natalia i know right! my sister goes there ALOT and we went to the mall once and i went into the store, in 20 minutes i already had a migrane and i said to my sis " come on sis hurry your butt up" and shes like " ok im checking out rn" and i waited outside because i felt like i was gonna pass out so yea XD. but i have alot of there products and there rlly help my hair, and skin. i love lush! and for bath and body works i dont really think the smell is that strong in the store

First of all let me say I enjoyed watching your video as I'm a big fan and consistent buyer of Lush products.
I noticed that no one is wearing hairnets apart from one or two people.
The guy has a nice beard and you and your friends have nice hair but I wouldn't want to find a long brunette hair or a beard strand in my product.
Also very inconsistent with the use of gloves. Let's not forget about cross contamination and that people maybe allergic to certain ingredients.
It's not your fault at all as Lush should have told you.
These product I'm guessing were going out to the public.
I love how Lush is against animal testing!
I LOVE THIS!!! I love that everyone there was so happy and able to express themselves freely (tattoos, piercings, hair color), I love that so many of the products are completely handmade so that they employ tons of people, each employee knows about the products they're making and the factory was CRAZY clean!! That is how you run a company!!

LUSH is so sweet. I've always wanted to go on a tour. Love that they actually let you experience everything instead of just watching. Plus they provide lunch! Haha. Hope you enjoyed 💕

I've never seen soaps being made before and I was amazed when I saw this tour at the lush factory. It's like a cake factory. Most of their tools and equipments were used in baking. All those powder are like flour. Plus the soaps that they made really looked like cute and sweet desserts! I love this video! Thanks for sharing your tour with us. :)

when you think about it, 10 or 7 (they cost almost 15 dollars where i live) is a lot for a couple of teaspoons worth of face mask..
+Jojo S its a good quarter cup, and it's a product that costs a lot to keep (the fridge/ice) and hard to have in stock (short shelf life, needs turnover) but I feel ya. It's certainly not cheap

Hair nets for the products and face masks for the workers! Those materials that make the bath bombs are dusty af - thats a real health hazard for the peoples lungs...
As in the workers should use hair nets to not get hair into the products - not as in the products need hair nets :-D

I work at the lush factory in Australia in the bubbles department so we make all the bubble bars, solid shampoos and dusting powders and it's such a dream job to be able to make these amazing products every day and then see them in store a few days later, it's so rewarding. This video is amazing thank you 💖💖
