Hi, I don't mean to be rude but when you trot him you can see that he's uncomfortable this is because you are doing behind the bit, craning the horses neck and head too far back and it then restricts their movement. This is really damaging to the horses anatomy and it limits their movement. Sadly many riders learn to do behind the bit (especially in dressage) but it's labelled as on the bit. It's not necessarily your fault, perhaps your trainers for teaching you how to ride like this. It's really important to realise that behind the bit is damaging and uncomfortable for your equine. If he's forward moving it's still not correct to rely on the bit all the time, instead lean more back to reduce his speed and don't crane his neck. The only time when horses naturally crane their necks to their chest is when rearing or pig rooting/bucking.
This was my first time ever riding him. So we weren’t exactly sure what to expect or how he would feel. Ive had him for a month now and we are figuring each other out with constant support from my coach ☺️
