Honestly, I really love that Yokai Peak is really easy because you can actually solo it without needing daily (if you have good stuff from GS) or depend on raids and carry’s
I personally like the fact it is on the easier end because remember that not everyone has purple gs and leg when getting there especially new players. Another thing is the fact that skilled players probably won't have trouble wheras a newer player who just gets to level 200 definately would struggle. I personally think that we are just used to the difficulty being really high compared to when DQ was at it's peak.
My review on the Yōkai Peak Theme: 9/10 (I wasn’t expecting a Japanese mythology themed dungeon, I thought the focus would about the Onis. But it would focus on the entirety of the of Japanese Mythology. I made a similar dungeon idea like this but it was about yokais, Shinto shrines and the iconic long nose Yōkai Daitengu. I would have wished the Yōkai Peak dungeon included a tengu mob or boss. I know when making a mythology themed dungeon, not everything has to be accurate or added) Map: 8.5/10 (It really captures that Japanese mythology feeling, I wish the map is shorter like around nl or gs size) Gameplay: 6/10 (I will give it this, the bosses attacks were random to the point where the player wouldn’t get super bored, so not bad Voldex. But it is way too easy) Mob design: 7/10 (the swamp mobs were creative, especially the tidal kitsunes. The shadow mobs were goofy but funny, I wasn’t a fan of the Yōkai mobs, the Yōkai sorcerers look like they are trying to look like onis) Boss design: 9/10 (the designs on the bosses are really nice, the 2nd boss design could have been a bit better and stayed faithful to the Yōkai Peak logo. I found the 3rd boss design to the be the funniest) Difficulty: (it’s too ez, the 2nd boss is the only thing that is kind of challenging but not too hard. That’s only if you know the boss well) Weapons: 6/10 (they look decent, the 2nd best mage weapon is SO SMALL, the war leg looks too small; not lava king daggers levels but I have a bad taste to small legendaries, yea the design is good but the size is off…) the mage leg is the better one by size) Armours: 6.5/10 (Oni armours were ok looking, the tier 2 armour and I can’t be bothered to remember the name is not my favourite. The Akuma war set is the only good looking one, the Akuma mage is ugly, not lava King mage ugly… the Akuma guardian is alright. Spells: 3.5/10 (HORRIBLE, especially the war spells… I would just use spinning blade smash) Dungeon Cosmetics: 7/10 (the Tatsu spirit is really good, the Oni Spirit looks nice but I wish it was red instead of blue) Exp: idk why people complained about exp, it’s stupid :/ Conclusion: good looking dungeon, mobs and bosses by design and purpose were decent, good gameplay but horrible spells, questionable weapon sizes) Total: 7/10 was it better than my favourite dungeon Ghastly? Uh… well if the spells were good, the weapon sizes being accurate to Dn’s Concept and making the mobs a bit more challenging and execute the stuff properly then it would have dethroned Ghastly Harbor. But sadly it’s just good and not a masterpiece. Edit: the Suragami cutscene was unexpected, it’s decent.
for me this is suprisingly easiest dungeon for starter if you got gs set just get any weapon from dialy and good to go for solo! all enemy damage output is small enough (you can still die btw) and the timer is way more forgiving 15 minutes, i did solo by using BAD POT gs mage set and mid GAD leg 148M pot by having 9Q as avg damage output - First boss is tricky one but all moves are easy to predict all of the pattern are complete same depend where that dragon facing at *I GOT TATSU AT HUNDRED RUN BABY!* - Second boss also tricky that you have to keep distance from that ogre because that slam attack is so hurt ngl - Third boss is kinda annoying one where somehow you standing at wrong spot that the plate you standing at is glowing red and there is big line are aiming at you and fireball is close to you - Final boss first phase is not really difficult to dodge but second?? that so easy lol! idk why people who had good pot gs set still beg for yp carry, i tell him that yp is so easy but he doesnt belive that he said yp is too hard lol
the only good war spells (after balance update):spinning blade smash the only good war spells (before balance update):spinning blade smash, kunai knives. (kunai knives did 60q on full triple kunai hit to bosses) while blade barrage did 45q

- First boss is tricky one but all moves are easy to predict all of the pattern are complete same depend where that dragon facing at *I GOT TATSU AT HUNDRED RUN BABY!*
- Second boss also tricky that you have to keep distance from that ogre because that slam attack is so hurt ngl
- Third boss is kinda annoying one where somehow you standing at wrong spot that the plate you standing at is glowing red and there is big line are aiming at you and fireball is close to you
- Final boss first phase is not really difficult to dodge but second?? that so easy lol!
idk why people who had good pot gs set still beg for yp carry, i tell him that yp is so easy but he doesnt belive that he said yp is too hard lol
