I was locked up with the Green River Killer (Gary Ridgway), Jeff Gilooley (Tanya Harding's husband), and The Barefoot Bandit (Colton Moore). I have a story about when I first met The Barefoot Bandit. Funny AF. If you ever want to have an interview with an ex-con from Oregon and Washington State, I got you. I gave the State 17 years of my adult life. I've been out almost 9 years and now I work as a counselor for a 90 day co-occurring treatment facility for men. Salute, Josh!
comment on a newer post *in a decent time matter from when he uploads *
@@iam-deadlyclan4 Huh?!
@@RayJay37he means your comment will get more visibility (hopefully by josh) it's closer to when the video airs.
EDIT: I'd love to hear about more on the barefoot bandit
What about, Martin Pang?
@@panam747 Good call! I was actually in King County jail with him. I totally forgot about that. Wow.
I was about 22 and got a DUI. I had to stay about 12 hours in jail. Got woke up for breakfast and seen sausage that looked like it had cancer. The gravy looked like white water. Needless to say I realized real quick I’m not that guy.
an the guys in there that been there a while love that tray. it grows on you after a week or so. lol
12 hours that's it for a dui ? I was drunk in public walking home 2 blocks from the bar and was in for almost 24 hours
Shiiit i got owi an just got printed n pictures an let go😂
Sht on a shingle I actually looked forward to that breakfast.
Man f that food. I’m good. I’ll look my own.
Im 45 and I never even trusted street drugs in the 90s when I was partying. I cant even wrap my head around what these young bucks are seeing.
I worked as a detention officer in a county jail. I learned a lot about people during my employment there. Kindness, understanding, and grace goes a long way, no matter what color you happen to be wearing in the moment.
14$ is a lot r
The hell you talking aoit
@@TrentElephantCement What?
This was a great interview. I really enjoyed listening to this guy. So great to see him doing so well and 2 years clean. It is possible folks
Nice comment. Maybe the interviewer will take notice of your picture, reach out to you, and you two will start to date.
@@MrDeanmfitz🤣🤣🤣
@MrDeanmfitz good way to scare women away from a community, fucking creepy. You're basically calling her a simp because she commented that it was a good interview
Definately,breaking the cycle,staying clean.Respect to this bloke.Chur.
Appreciate these interviews a bunch, keeps your head straight and out of trouble!
Stay safe and free folks.
I usually try not to comment twice, but shoutout to dude helping people in Kensington.
seen the el I knew he was down the ave
I just caught up with that
Philly Philly!! I spent a total of about 2 1/2 years in county and about 3 years upstate.. i went to gratersford as well but since I was over my minimum when i got sentenced i got classified there, I didn't have to go to Camp Hill to get classified, i got sent straight to my home jail once I got classified.. i got sent to Laurel Highlands which is about an hour or so away from Pittsburgh Pa and about 20 minutes from where the passengers of the plane faught the terrorist and crashed in a field
Awesome interview bro! Out of any juvenile joint, county jail or state prison, walking the tier in Graterford for the first time was an experience I’ll never forget. When you walk on the tier you can’t see the end. 800 inmates per block 2 tiers high, the bubble in the middle and a chow hall at the end. Only 8 phones per block. Wild open prison.
Dude is smart honestly. Clearly learned his lessons and now he’s doing good now. Pretty motivating❤
I am fortunate never to of been locked up or arrested and don’t always understand some of the issues you guys are going through, but I can say what a positive video to watch and truly hope that everything works out in the right path of you guys
Never been to prison, been to jail many times, TBH it probably saved my life.. some of us needed it ..
Stay the course young man, I remember the day I told my wife "I just want to be a "happy sucker", I was so blessed to be able to escape that life. It's great that you want to give back, they need you, they need all of us to give them a helping hand . May God bless you and your family.
100% correct on how he explained the first time he got to E Block after reception for the first time. When they opened the double doors it felt like I was walking into hell. From the dim lights, all the smoke floating in the air, the loud noises & yelling from the inmates on both tiers as you walk thru to get your mattress, sheets & toilet paper and find your cell. IT WAS TRULY UNLIKE ANY EXPERIENCE IN LIFE💯
I'm so inspired by your guys' stories on here I watch everyday I used to get caught up in the life of crime as a youth ..watching this stuff inspires me to stay on the good path and be grateful for my freedom..
Salute to both y'all fellas! Can't tell you how much I enjoy these interviews and even more having a real dude on here that ain't afraid to tell his true side of the story. Hope anybody who can soaks in all of this and uses it
I have a bachelors degree in criminal Justice, worked in law enforcement, and worked in a jail and ended up getting caught up in a drug case. I’ve been out of prison for about a year and a half. August 6 2022 I got out from PADOC Max. Security Frackville.
I would love to be on your show D, and have a lot of stories to tell. I went from working with the police, working in a jail, to going to state prison for my first ever charge for 1-2 years. Please get ahold of me death, I’ve got a great stories about PA prison, especially Camp Hill and Frackville.
Yo bring this dude on your show. I think he'd have an interesting perspective given his background. ✌ really enjoy your' show
Keep on, keeping on.
😮😢🎉
Idk if he has pigs on the show.
Had 2 buddies in CCNO ride out to camp hill idk how old you are but do you remember when they had the riot in the late 80s early 90s?
@@liamsdad33those riots were no joke...met a guy who was in during ...sickening
I started using meth at 14 and started heroin around 18 and spent about 30 years sticking a needle in my arms I've lost everything multiple times watched some friends die from it done time behind it. I'm sober now and can honestly say I'm happy for anyone it can be done it's never to late to get help.
Junkie good lord
Wow. Well done @shawnwhitman5482 👏 Wishing you a long life and EVERY happiness 💐👍
You usually drop a video just a couple hours b4 I get home from work and I look forward to it to unwind. But the extra long one on my Friday is great! Thanks bud.
Back in the 90’s I worked with a guy who did a few bids at Graterford aka Great Adventure.
Man, the stories he told were no joke, and neither was he. Dude lived through some of the craziest riots that place ever had.
I had another friend do a bid in Graterford.
And currently I have a friend doing time at SCI Phoenix, the new Graterford.
That place is insane, this guy speaks nothing but the truth.
Thanks for this interview.
And shout out to Philly.
Just what I needed to get through my shift some good oll lockdown 💪🏾💯
You guys hiring !
I wanna watch RUclips at work too
That would be sweet
But ole death would have to triple the content lol!!
Not gon lie Grateford was a wild stop. Got in more fights the 2 months I was there than the 3 years I spent at my home jail 😂.
I haven't been to this channel in a while... but I see it's still awesome. Good work man. Really great interview 👏
Loved this interview. Even though I'm in the UK, a woman and never been in trouble with the law in my life - I'm still weirdly fascinated and intrigued by all these jail/prison stories. Good on the lad for having a group, too. Help is out there for people who need it ❤
Me too 😂😂🤦🏾♀️🇬🇧 I'm here listening to it all, like I'm going in on Tuesday 🤣🤣
The interviews you do are my favorite episodes; I was wondering when you were going to do another one
THIS
This interview flew by. He's interesting, funny and it seems like you have a great repore. Wishing him the best!
This guys The Man! I’m glad you got a good head on your shoulder now and cleaned up your act. It takes a tough man to get interviewed and actually admit how scared you where the night u left the county and was heading”upstate”! Props to you. Cause every man has that feeling sitting in the county, knowing that your heading to the big house for the first time!
These interviews are the reason we subbed YEARS ago homie. This is how your bread gets buttered.
LOVE THESE INTERVIEWS!!
I’ve had lots of friends and family thru gratersford over years, I did 2 years county between Philly n Camden nj but dodged upstate thank god
3 South B stand up lol
Skipping school is where it all starts..that's when I started drinking, smoking cigarettes...weed...hash...dropping acid..never touched anything harder but that's because my dad and uncle were hardcore heroin and coke users. I seen sooooo much before I turned 16. My dad ran with bike gangs up in and around Toronto and Montreal. Satan's choice...hells angels....I swear I could write a book with all the stories I have. Bro I love the stuff you talk about here on this channel...keep up the awesome content
What an inspirational video! As always Josh, always providing amazing professional videos. Think about how many people you have helped. What an intelligent and amazing young man. This hour went by way too quick. I look forward to part 2
respect to that dude its not easy changing your life when its upside down. i was in and out prison from 15 nerly 16 years old right up about 25 26 years of age and having my partner help me got me though my deprsion she helped me of drugs and gave me 3 beautiful kids. some times we need a little help and its not allways easy to take help when you have had a hard child hood .for me personly changing my life aound was the hardest this i ever had to do with help from my girl freind and family i would probly not be here to day . to anyone who may want to change take a page out this guys book think positive and mabie thats all any us could ask for
Good PA story. Philly has always been a wild city, Bucks County is smooth (for the most part). Also I totally forgot about the Bill Cosby situation. Imagine hitting the yard and seeing dude 😂
Homie seems like a good dude, that had to learn the hard way. God bless him and his future.
I did both my state bids at Graterford. I came home right before they shuddered it. I actually finished my last bid at the OSU with Wallace Peoples aka Wallo from Million Dollaz Worth of Game.
)The max blocks at Graterford were C&D, and had 600 people (including 200 either murderers or people who cannot cell. with anyone.
I’m from pa been to graterford whats osu?
Bro your interview style is great!! You let the guests speak and you don't interrupt
Great stories. Especially how he illustrated the relationship with the CO's.
My first state prison was grataford. Got crazy stories about that prison. It’s like the Streets. A co got stabbed in the eye w a pencil my first day there .
What year?
Big respect for you to share your storys. Was a really great interview as always aending the love from aus
I really hope you’ll interview my husband when he gets out - he’ll have some stories from out here in Utah man shits crazy
Haven't been on here in a minute but you still keepin it 💯 💪🏼💪🏼 🔥🔥🔥

Iv been in the same county plenty of times it’s pretty sweet it’s a daycare. And the story about his cellie I was the next block over. But Jake’s is as thoro as they come. Glad to see him doing good.
This guy needs his own channel, great speak, did multiple bids, down to earth get to it brother
Watching from Brooklyn, NY. Keep it up Death 👊🏼💪🏽
I went in at 19 in the Florida prison system for burglary. I did almost 26 years on 30. I’m about to turn 46 now and saw the whole culture change in the course of that time. Prison used to be filled with men that made mistakes, now it’s filled with undisciplined children. Gangs and drugs completely ruined the system.
I had 3 duis before the age of 23, went to rehab and saved my life.
Always love a good old fashioned interview
In New York it used to be automatic 1 year for a technical violation with a guaranteed out date, no programs, nothing. But it's so different now you probably have to catch a new case to get sent back.
845 salute
Another great interview!
You are a Great interviewer! Wanted to hear more about Bill Cosby but could tell guy didn't want talk more about it. But you are better than MSM.Ty
This was a good interview, great video! 🔥
I like this interview thanks Josh you should do like one interview a week if you have time im sure they take more time to do those
This has to be your greatest interview. Good job Josh.
Great video!!!! Awesome guest !!
I did a west Pennsylvania bid from Pittsburgh to camp Hill then to Laurel Highlands. Definitely different than you experienced in Laurel Highlands I had a smoke pass and could leave the block and go outside anytime to smoke. Laurel Highlands is definitely camp compared to the 11 prisons I have seen
Wow PA homie,I did allot of time on state rd in Philly CFCF,I was at Liberty halfway house on Germantown & Lehigh I used run around Kennsington for many years but I’m out the hood now 7years clean, great interview dude reminds me of someone I was booked with and we we’re getting high on the block and made a trash bag full of wine working on the kitchen block it was like being on the street every weekend we we’re getting trashed lol
Miss these interviews, bring them back brotha
I’ve been drug free 6 years I hope he stays clean
That Xylazine is what causes it - Growing up in Puerto Rico I've seen addicts on the streets with their arms and legs rotting off, literally with the bone sticking out.. So many of them begging along PR-2 and around downtown Aguadilla like zombies, and it's been like that for decades.
A lot of faces over the years, and many young. Saw this one guy go from looking 25 - 50+ in a year, with his legs rotting. Everyday I drove past him with his cup and he just deteriorated as the months went by.
My buddy just turned 18 got sent to old folsom. His stories would be great and he is hilarious an interview with him would be great
What a great story and he told it very well, I have a ton of respect for not needed social media, crazy he was locked up with Ol Bill Jank lol
Never thought I would hear about the bucks county jail on lockdown 🤣🤣
Cupcake camp up lol just got off T block working for aramark lol

Over a hour video?! DUDE hells yes thats what im talking about!!!!!
Most people just by hearing it wouldn't think a light on constant would be a major issue but it is... and I've not been locked up
Damn mic drop when he mentioned Bill Cosby . Glad he mentioned it after all that time. Good intel
Love a good comeback story 🙏
This is a really good one I love a good redemption story. Im glad I watched it all the way through. Bill Cosby story at the end, great content brother.
Same way in Wisconsin,if you get a PO warrant or any violations if you're in any county except Milwaukee county you go to prison while they sort shit out but doc is so over crowded Milwaukee built a prison facility downtown and you do your intake there and if revoked it can take 10 months to get you to a prison where you can move around.Staff shortages so bad my brother spent 4 months only getting out 2hours twice a week for showers and phone calls
I was 17 years old my first time in state prison in Georgia. It was very intimidating and scary, couldnt believe what I'd gotten myself into...so thankful for the older white boys who watched over me and gave guidance...love yall homies
Born and raised in bucks and Philadelphia area probably been on the block with ya 🤣 I've done a lot of time in bucks county jail and Pennsylvania state prison
@LUDWIG215. Why do bucks people say their in the Philadelphia area LMAO
What are some job recommendations after doing a small bid ?
Ive always thought what he said his experience was, i could never do drugs in jail or prison no way been to both and was active in addiction also couldnt imagine the anxiety and also knowing im not in my right mind. If your in prison you need your wits about you at all times i couldnt imagine man.
I like this guy.. he’s the sort of person you would like to do time with 👍
been to bucks and cfcf (county in philly). it's literally night and day
Strong story much respect to this man 👏👏
I love your interviews please do more!!! and yes I've seen all your old ones lol
"STAY IN YOUR LANE" Best Prison advice EVER !!!!❤
Good interview
This is so funny. I worked at SCP Graterford in 1990-91. It was as crazy as he says. When they call yard out, you get to the outside walls because there are about 3,000 dudes heading for the yard and you didn't want to be in the middle of that. If you were an assh*le CO on a cell block, you could find yourself flying from the 2nd tier to the floor really quick. It won't kill you, but I am sure it hurt like like h*ll! Any of the CO's that had 10 or more years in all seemed to walk around like Sgt Schultz (I see nothing, I hear nothing, ect., ect.)
I ended up in the hole for fighting in Bexar County in San Antonio, Texas, was one man cell. No cellie. Door kicking 24/7 was hell. No money for stamps. But I must have written 50 letters. Only one was sent out.
This is very helpful content for ppl who want nothing to do with prison. Scared straight for sure.
East PA goes through Camp Hill for classification place is huge!
This was a really thorough dude
He’s down the ave, peep the el behind him
Finally! Thanks death! Your interview are 🔥🔥🔥
That PA accent is classic!

Heard crazy stories about graterford, basically scared me straight
