People are the heart and soul of any business. You can have all the brilliant ideas in the world, but without the right people to execute them, they're nothing more than pipe dreams.

This was a vanilla introduction to what your legal department states and in writing what exactly your HRM department is for. The compliance always wins over everything. There is only a right or legally correct or politically correct du jour. To address a question from your audiance regarding taking this HR responsibilities and comparing it apples to apples with the corporate legal divisions many corporations gave on staff. Yes, the legal department will change the company direction to keep in step with the new legal issues running through corporate America facing the constant re- imaging and re branding of your corporate mission statements to 1. ) remain up to date in the with changing business laws and arguments usually heard in the Federal Court level . The main objectives HRM has which I feel are a more realistic vision of HR roles from the the glass ceiling down.Really attending middle management meetings and team building ops to oversee compliance from the CEO to the Janitor because big corps are sued and found non compliant more times than not.
    2. And this is huge... Hiring the right people for their particular job within your Corp. This is huge.Hiring the perfect temperament thinking skills and communication capabilities plus promptness reliability education level loyalty ethical behaviors all make you the perfect employee all above and beyond the skills necessary to even be interviewed for that position.
Now you all know me ... Im the genius who started the notion to bench mark characteristics. In common exhibited of your most successful employees . The easiest way I found to do this was to simply have them take a personality and ethics written test then pop up an Excel spread sheet for all the data and comments you have from your current. employment roster plot the trends on x y axiThe data will give you a very smart tool in predicting future employee preferred antics and behaviors individually per job and core competencies shared individuality each work force team or area if responsibilities. Voile' oh are cloning your best employees all accomplished thru the initial interview stages for all new hires.
What happens next is an ability to newly hire a naturally diverse work force as long as your original benchmarked work force sample is diverse.
One more item. I noticed in this great presentation the compensation portion of the discussion is also a very fluid ever changing salary model mostly because you remain a competitively paid and up to date without competitors having an obvious advantage. I will add only one item. It would be a huge mistake for any company large or small to assume all your employees are only salary motivated. They are not. Think of the single mother who would be totally loyal and happy to have onsite daycare for iinstance. The senior employee woukd welcome a much more comprehensive affordable health care and 401 k match for retirement. Personal paid time off for other than sickness is huge as many employers have a hard time allowing free time off site or creation time allowed in the work week for new products brainstormed or current process improvement. 3M. Corp and Micro soft both allow internal think tank teams and encourage and bonus incentify all new or improved products handsomely.. Ta Da This was a huge success at 3M WITH THE Sticky notes..Take Care . Tamara

Firstly, Thanks a lot for this amazingly informative video. I want to ask you a question.
I have worked for two years in my own business, as the CEO where I handled my business's execution, organisational and administrative work.. I have completed a phase of life in my business and, Now I want to make a move to advance my career and I'm good at handling admin, organisational and management related work. I'm thinking of choosing Human Resource as my career stream to learn and grow in my life. As per myself, Human Resource Administrator is the Job Profile I would love to start to work as. What HR job options can you suggest me to start with? I will really appreciate you help. Thanks a lot.

Thanks Soma, Iv'e learned some great facts through your video, I can surely feel confident in the kind of career path I am very much interested in taken up in the future. I really didn't know what kind of career I would enjoy or could feel passionate about until I realized there were times I agree to disagree towards situations regarding employment and also with how I am as a person in this world working for others and how they judged me or my work. Iv'e seen many people higher up in positions where they did not belong, stealing from there own company, scheduling wrong, store shrink-edge like crazy, hiring people due to relations or favor, miss treating the value of true team players.. ect. I've always found my self curious with the need to want to understand more and do more know more about numbers ect. with that said maybe my career path should be in this kind of field. Become a
HR- MANAGER .. help companies grow and become successful. Anyhow i'm babbling to much.. THANKS AGAIN..
