Run annually on the hallowed Berkshire turf of Ascot Racecourse, for the first time in history Royal Ascot 2020 is taking place behind closed doors.
Undeterred, Europe’s leading thoroughbred racehorse trainers, jockeys, owners and breeders recorded famous victories on the opening day of the Royal Meeting, where even Her Majesty The Queen was not permitted to attend the track.
Race highlights include victories for leading Newmarket trainers and the mighty Coolmore / Ballydoyle stable.

For the first time in Horse racing history the "ASCOT RACES" without spectators.Unbelievable as i never thought or dreamed that during my own lifetime i would see horse racing conducted with a empty spectator stadium. Ahoy !

I used to say Battaash was as good as Black Caviar just to stir the Aussies.
But now I actually think it's true.
He may even be better.
Obviously she was more consistent, he's mental so he'd never win 25 in a row.
But when he is on his game and over a straight 5f there wouldn't be much in it either way.
In his younger day, I could imagine the jockey jim crowley would have merrily killed Battash, not knowing which one had turned up to race.
