    Use to work at the Antique Trove for years. Got addicted to cool stuff. Then I got addicted to plants, succulents at Green Acres. I now live in Humboldt county Northern California a lot cooler and less crowded. I Grow all types of Daisy's in my garden They love it up here and so do I. Happy gardening 🙌💚🌲🌿🌊 enjoying the beach walks instead of spending money shopping. Just thought I'd share. 😀

      I'm an Oklaboma gardener also. Hello neighbor, it was so hot today. 100 but felt like 110. It's all I can do is water. I have way to many flowers and veggies also. But I love them and I don't want them to die. I heard it's going to be one of our hottest summers ever. Praying for some rain and some cooler weather. At least 90. Lol😊

    The office sign is perfect. So cute. I have two blue and one white plumbago along a fence where I let them do their thing. They are a barrier from my neighbors dogs. These are perfect for your June blooming choice. Mine are about six feet tall and five feet wide. They are covered with blooms right now.

    Took my 84-year-old mom to Antique Trove, and we only got through half of everything they have. Loved what you got, but I couldn't believe you ignored the iron chicken! I think you need one of those. Can't wait to see you plant everything you got. I just purchased a Sunset Western Garden Book (1994) at a local American Cancer Discovery Store in Elk Grove today before I watched today's episode. I have a few empty spots in my yard, so can't wait to read about plants in my Sunset Zone 8.

    Hi Janey! At 4:18 I thought it was hilarious that you passed a booth with the sign 'Garden Girl' (over your right shoulder) just as you were saying, "Time to head outside and actually look for the gardening stuff." 🤣 Maybe there wasn't garden stuff in that booth? The office sign was so cute. Maybe you could paint or stencil your 'Dig, Plant, Water, Repeat' logo above or below the "Office" lettering in your signature Rejuvenation green, outlined in black with some pretty flower accents. Great video! I loved all the different content.

    Collecting Sunset books is a worthy endeavor! Each edition has slightly different plants, so it’s important to get them all 😂 😂 and each contains unique articles on aspects of gardening. Another good source for these is Friends of the Library bookstores. You will be absolutely fine leaving your dahlias in the ground for the winter. I live in zone 6b and got fed up with dahlias and the care they need so I left the tubers in the ground to rot and they have already come back twice and keep growing like weeds even if I keep cutting them. I will probably have to dig them up eventually 😂

    • @eileenchang2173
      @eileenchang2173 5 дней назад

      @aksileb- I am in zone 5 , I find that growing dahlias in pots much better than in the ground. In the ground they get attacked by all kinds of pests, earwigs, and other insects . As an experiment I am going to cut off the dead foliage of the ground tubers to see if the one in the warmest part of my garden survives the 🇨🇦winter which was warmer than usual last year. 🌸
