I like this actor but his character sucked, do the writers really think that him taking care of his friend's kid is a good justification for all his disrespect towards FL? he put the other woman needs before FL many times, he was rude to FL several times, he never believed her, like in the stolen bracelet scene, and even when he found out that she had the accident he treated it as if it was nothing serious, he didn't deserve forgiveness, the drama has a comedy tone and this suppresses ML's horrible behavior, the actor's performance and charisma does not erase these actions, FL deserved to be with someone else or free of him, also he had no right to do and choose what's better for someone alse's kid!?
Yep they made him dumb as a rock! He couldn't understand why she was angry he didn't explain his " secrets" ahead of time. Didn't he have a clue when she divorced him??!!
All their issues were his fault. And there's no excuse for him constantly letting the other woman hang onto him or constantly belittling his wife and taking the other woman's side. Then the wife wants to divorce, and he treats her like a child and her desire to divorce like a joke. He didn't have the right to scold the wife about the other guy being around her given his own behavior. In no way did his relationship with the other wonan look like employer and employee.

Divorce is big decision. It’s a life altering decision. You need to think a lot and then decide. But once you have decided you should stand strong toward it. You shouldn’t deviate from that decision. But in these dramas the heroine proposes the divorce and then at each and every point when the male lead drags her she goes along. They kiss him, they have sex with him and whenever he sweet talks they go back towards their own words. Once you have decided divorce then you should be strong and never ever look back. That what you call a meaningful and decent life. Shifting and leaning toward the male lead and second male lead as they wish makes these women look cheaper.
The actress is one of my favourites, her acting, is so good 👍 I'm crying when she is the hero is good but always plays a bad guy so I don't like him, but he is a good actor.
He is not always the bad guy. I have seen him in more positive character than negative.

He's not really that bad in this I saw him in a drama when he operated on the SFL face and broke her legs because he found out she was lying about his wife!! The character was horrible but he did an excellent job as usual.

Actually when I started watching drama with him as the ML, it was a very positive character, a gentle man who sweetly doted on his wife (after her heart has been broken by a jerk) and having a secret crush on her for years so I guess the image will stuck on me forever 😄 On the contrary when I see him in roles as jerk MLs, I feel sorry for him to have to waste his own potential taking such cursed roles

The storyline frustrating because the actors do not play the emotions seriously. The wife is too casual about her husband cheating. She should display more hurt and anger at his actions. They downplay the situation and joke too much when the situation should be about hurt feelings.
She catches her husband taking care of another woman at the hospital when she was left alone after nearly dying in a car accident, then gets home and wants to sleep with him? Who does that. She gets the news that her husband might have got another woman pregnant and she forgets about it for half the movie and acts like an airhead around him.
I do not know who messed up while making this drama, but someone did.
I could not understand a lot of what is happening, but must be because I was distracted by the actress' appearance. However, this is a WEIRD movie!!!

This fl loves the ml endlessly despite of the .divorce...she isbehaving too childlessly with him and dont have any conclusion to question him on the scheming girl .... im wondering why she is not lashing out on him over the other woman and informing him abt the pregnancy the woman is claiming to be his during the drama so that the viewer can see his body language on it when he hears it...when divorced j think all ties should be broken with all the family members bt these writers still engaged the grandparents to help mended back the ml and fl marriage back which eventually will cause these vile misstresses to hurt both of them at the end.

Eso no era falta de comunicación, eso era que el tío la trataba como una basura, hasta cuando le hacía un regalo lo hacía de forma despreciativa y alegando que eran regalos de clientes, se negaba a tener sexo con ella, menospreciándola, humillándola y diciéndole que jamás tendría hijos con ella, nunca estaba cuando ella necesitaba ayuda, en cuanto la otra lo llamaba salía corriendo y la dejaba a ella tirada, incluyendo el día de la boda, el día del accidente corrió al hospital espantado ante la llamada de la tía, ni la vió cuando chocó con ella en el hospital, mientras que no atendió las llamadas de su esposa y cuando por fin lo hizo le mintió diciendo que estaba en la empresa. Cuando fué al casting directamente cambió la decisión del director que la había seleccionado a ella y le dió el papel a la tía mientras que a ella la insultó, la humilló y la denigro delante de todo el mundo ordenándole que se fuera a la casa a ejercer de ama de casa, a limpiar, cocinar y lavar que era para lo único que valía, la obligó a bajarse del coche en medio de la nada, de noche y lloviendo a cántaros, etc... Que queden juntos es muy mal final, la deja como una inútil sin dignidad, sin respeto y sin ningún amor propio.😤

The writing is not realistic, nor is the dialog I couldn't finish it. Please spend a bit more time on plot and character development. This was poor.
It's funny, while I adore Haonan the storyline is rubbish . Always creating a shallow reason for misunderstanding between the husband and wife. And the husband gets stabbed trying to protect her.

I did not like this version of the drama. I watch most dramas with these actors and really adore the ML & FL. I usually like their dramas but this was disappointing. The script was not well done; it was missing many parts that made the other versions interesting. I am sad two of my favorite actors got stuck in this mess. I wish it had been better. The quality of production and the video itself were not good.
This drama was just crap all away around. Although the actors are seasoned, this script sucked and their performances lacked; most likely because of the poorly written characters. The ML was a narcissistic A-hole who talked mostly out of his butt, and the FL displayed all the characteristics of a batter wife; weak, pathetic, masochistic with NO self worth. Even with the heavy use of the FF button, this was crap with a crappy outcome. She forgives the controlling asshole in the end.!
