- I think it's safe to say Zeze has finally met her match as she sits down with fellow presenter, the infamous Julie Adenuga. Enjoy!
AD: This book is called ‘Imani’s Diary’ and it’s written by Chantel hall-Reid.
It’s fun, nostalgic and will have you laughing all the way through while you reminisce on yours teen years.
Chantel throws it alllll the way back to what it was like for the main character Imani growing up in the 90s. It’s a fictional book and it’s written in a light hearted easy way, it’s for us adults not kids!
Big people reading time/ting
Take a nostalgic read and lose yourself in the naughty 90s with Imani and the Crew!
Even though she uncovers fake friendships, and relationship blunders, she also experiences teenage highs, late night parties, sleepovers and holding down a boyfriend or two.
The music mentioned, the food we ate, cussing teachers, skiving school, meeting boys, Imani does it all.
Get you copy it’s a MUST
Highly recommended

Julie has that 'I grew up with brothers' energy.
Spot on. N A G!
BMT😂
Ye skepta n jme
100%%%
Julie sounds exactly like Jamie
2 black women with a fresh face on camera 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿. Love to see it. AND THEY LOOK STUNNING 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿😍
First two way interview between black women I've seen, ZEZE NEED'S TO STAY AUTHENTIC AND UNORTHODOX
and they kinda need the makeup lol
*strong, confident and beautiful black women!
@@SuperSouthchick They kinda DON'T
@@SuperSouthchick not at all!
Really love Julie, don’t know why but she’s so wholesome.
She's confident, good head on her shoulders, professional, seems very wise, etc...
Very wholesome indeed
Because she’s a lot like Jme.
@@Lukerogers0121 serious
Because she's real...
Their chemistry is so organic. Both charismatic, social, and personable. I think their humor, smarts, and wit suits this interview. Quite refreshing. Let’s go Black Women! 💁🏾♀️
Best comment 🖤❤
Julie is the friend that won't allow you to do nonsense. Keeps it real from the start. Honest.
Loved how natural the conversation was
The shuffle between interviewer and interviewee between them both was epic lol. Just goes to show they’re both doing what they’re meant to do
💯
In terms of that interviewer shuffle, Julie had ZeZe on the ropes
@@h.o.tmusic7373 you sound like a 23 year old child
@@lovejones1602 you can’t be both it’s one or the other
@@diah-502 23 year olds of today are definitely children so don’t tell me that go tell them 😂😂talm bout “I’m a big woman” I can’t tell by your childish selfish decisions
Wow two popping black women sitting naturally having a chat. I love it ❤️🙏🏾
@My2cents they would be dope together on a podcast right
You act as if black women cNt sit and have a chat ever and it’s a shock to see this
I agree with the fact that natural hairstyles like braids and locs do bring out my inner beauty more than weaves and wigs etc . I do feel sexier with my braids 💁🏽♀️xx
It's true braids do bring out the beauty in Black women.
Anything but natural hair brings out the fake beauty in black women! In some people's opinion obviously 😂
@@tinyty88 how
I LOVED this episode. Whenever confident people come on it always makes for an intresting show. More of these rappers need to learn how to chill out and relax during your interviews so their actual personality can come out.
Hard when zeze downplays their life struggles and the environment they didnt choose to grow up in. Maybe zeze should be compassionate about people wanted to use a craft to change their life instead of just criminalising them and drawing them out. But yeah maybe then they'll show "personality"
Yeah, it is an art though, will take some time. They (rappers) aren't used to being interviewed. Just like performing their first show...after a while they will be used to it and can be more natural and not worried about saying the wrong thing. For these two its just a normal chat.
Always found it weird that rappers lack confidence
@@PhoenixHomeEd I hear that. But they should just be themselves. Its not all of them cos Russ and a few others have just been themselves . You can tell a few have their back up because of how they expect it to go so maybe Zeze needs to make them feel more relaxed I dunno.
@@osas2888 I get why they might lack confidence. Some of them seem to just have their back up because they're talking to ZeZe but they would come across much better if they just showed their personality and kept it light
Without a doubt one of the BEST interviews ever! Julie and Zee what a flipping combo that I didn't know I NEEDED!!
My entry point to Julie was through her being Skepta and JME's sister. But for I'd say over 5 years I've barely listened to much Skepta or JME music but I watch almost everything Julie does, she's a great interviewer and just all round cool person. If you don't usually watch her you should, Great vibe always
I came across her in the Myspace days, she had a really funny blog with Ralph Hardy
yes, me too
Didn’t want this to end - elite duo
I had no idea Julie was Skepta’s sis but now I can’t unsee it
she’s literally the girl version of jme
@@unclenytz definitely
@@unclenytz even speech pattern is the same. J.M.E!
@@producerjames5334 that’s what my angle was when i said JME because also she grew up 3 years behind jme so that’s who she’s going to sound more like
Where have u been living
I love the rapport between you too . You can tell you both have respect for eachothers craft .beautiful to see . Will be great to look back on in 30 years
Its honestly the skin for me so fresh sooo clean 🥺
Perfect duo, anything you lot do together later on will be HUGE
Imagine a podcast with just them 2 🙌🏽🙌🏽🎉🎉
Neeeded 😂😂
We need it
It’s a musssst!!
NEED IT
What’s very, very, very clear to me is that these two NEED to have a show together. Haven’t seen chemistry like this.... Ever 🙌🏾
The Adenuga family’s genetics are so strong man. Mad how they all look so much alike 😭. (Another good interview tho Zeze 👏🏾)
I was literally saying she's just the female JME lol.
@@rampzie you do know they’re twins right lol
@@rachaelabiodun8549 Yh, mama Adenuga clenched her walls for 3 years after JME was born. Just because.

Julie’s laugh is legendary!
JULIE IS SUCH A VIBE! I loovvveeee hherrrrr vim!!! Beautiful, talented, personality and strong minded....LOVE TO SEE IT!!!!
Julie carries herself like an actual queen
Not gonna lie hearing Julie and Ze Ze call a 23 year old guy a child makes me feel like a baby 😂
Yeah
Felt the same way
They can say that cz they're old. Init?
@@abdullahishosmanomar7758 cheeky! 😝😝
@@abdullahishosmanomar7758 how old are they? Because to me they look like typical girls 😅
@@tinyty88 idk but tbh they're not that old
They don’t look that old because they don’t kill their skin with conforming and slapping pounds of make up on their face.
Renee is 25 and Julie is 33 see the difference of wearing make up like it’s you’re second skin?
Big up to the 2 beautiful black Sistren dem!
Loving this format of two grown women having a laugh and grown conversations!!!
I've tried weave...never again! It dies down my beauty. However with braids combined with clear skin, I get complimented everyday!
loved this interview. honestly, such a breath of fresh air seeying two black women uplift each other. natural too 😍
Love how Julie's got Zeze on ropes 😂😂
It’s called respect. Something a lot of these 23 year old children lack today 👶🏾 🍼
Facts or definitely facts?...it's great to see Julie Adenuga be interviewed for once. She really has created a lane for herself and stands on her own which isn't easy to do when you have siblings that are also part of the same scene that are flourishing and are Grime legends.
That RV interview and his dead personality is still plaguing my mind. Hopefully this one will cleanse my pallet xx
😂😂😂😂😂
Omds.. rough
“I feel like”
Lmaoooo, i haven't even watched it but this is funny asf 😂
Julie Adenuga. So powerful; so beautiful.
I love how Julie is honest about the fact that the proximity to her brother is why she got the job. So many people love to downplay or act as if it’s derogatory to imply such - it’s very simple! Proximity to power - popular figures - money = access.
Facto!
Skepta and his siblings are gorgeous people. I don't know what it is about this woman but she is just so fun to watch.
You have no idea how much I needed this on a deeper level.
I genuinely enjoyed this interview and would love to see/listen to more chats like this between mature black women.
The way I love Julie yeah ❤️❤️😂 the hair segment of this interview was mad accurate diff hairstyles attract different people • too many gems in this!!
Two queens having a good time, admiring each others skills and empowering each other, I love to see it ❤️
So here for this interview! Another amazing interview by zeze! Who don’t love her!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
She's good bro but if we're being honest she's also fuckdd half the interviews like with pastor tobi😂😂😂😂
Its crazy to see these 2 women literally interviewing each other because I really look up to the both of them. They inspire me to do what I do so much . So thanks for the interview and the content.
5 mins in and already loving it.. Pls more ppl like her pls. Not particularly keen on the boys you tend to interview
Their energy is contagious. Such a joy.
So good to see two black women supporting each other and raising each other up. Love this interview.
I need a PART 2
this whole interview was just good vibes, Zeze and Julie just bounce off each other
Really well
Julies laugh is so contagious 😂 really enjoyed this interview
This was such a pleasure to watch. I love it when Julie gets interviewed. She is always so wholesome, wise, and real. This was such an easy flowing conversation. It was also very interesting hearing Zeze speak so openly about what happened with her 9-5. She’s onto bigger and better things now.
Love the way they flow in conversation so real and they both know who they are as strong black young girls their parents must be so proud of them
Wish this was longer. Such a good conversation.
Love this interview! I was smiling all the way through this! ❤
My favourite episode yet
She’s so beautiful!! Everything I want in a woman
Zeze or Julie

Definitely Julie.
Look at how she's patterning Zeze throughout this interview based on love and relationships.
Julie is definitely the more loyal type.
