Was great seeing the Mk2 in person, and finally putting a face to the voice
It was a mistake. I was supposed to schedule for 6pm, and ended up scheduling for 6am 🤦🏽♂️🤣🤣🤣 I'm very rusty. But hey, it out.

It was a good turn out. I expected it to be a bit bigger but it will be one of the best mostly VW meets for the year.

Mk4 were still the most comfy rides out of all the Golfs, and I still miss mine. Those smooth Nappa Recaros were the business. I had MK1, MK2, MK4 and Mk5 Gti's in my lifetime. Now drive an old, but well cared for 2001 Polo Playa with a 2E stock.
My MK4 GTI was also a white beauty like the one in the showroom. Damn, got the MK4 blues now. Facebook marketplace here we come.
Mk4 GTI pricing has gotten out of hand lately. I've been looking for one for no good reason for a while. Haha. Thought about getting one as a track car because I really enjoy the way the wagon feels in the bends. If we had 1.8T wagons I would be all about that for a track car 🤣 Anyways, mk4s are awesome and the interior holds up over time very well. Especially compared to the Mk5.
Them old polos are die hards reliable and under the radar.. thr hijackers don't care about then parts are cheap and with a good set of wheels look great
And now the Mercedes parking right into the VW dealer? nah man, dont get me wrong very nice car but dont spoil the vibe man, lol
And it was front and centre. Very weird but it was a good meet all round. Lowstad put in effort and it was good.
