'Red Green' was a long-running Canadian comedy show starring Steve Smith, and I accidentally learned about Canadian things - like poutin and ketchup chips - from it. Like the monsters, I too thought it was a really clever idea. Then I found out that, for some reason, every country on Earth except for Canada despises them.
Eleking only eats electricity by absorbing it. She eats special batteries that also contain the flavors of normal foods. It’s even said in this video that the chips she eats are just batteries shaped like chips. As for sight, she uses her own electrokinesis from her horns to sense everything. This means it’s hard to sneak up on her.
Fun Fact, the Canadian Eleking mentions here wasn't meant to be anyone specific, that was just improv, the fact that those chips were Canadian slipped out
