I’ve listened to a lot of Calvin Rodgers and this does sound like him. One could use these sounds in gospel, hip hop, funk, soul. This is a great addition

This may sound a bit cheesy, but - listen: My colleages said I've turned into a quite happy person... since I have discovered the edrums and VST drumming for myself (comming from an acoustic kit playing metal/rock/pop). Still hoping that they were joking. But anyway...
I really would never ever had the chance to hear my play in such a superb quality, if I didn't try a copy of EZDrummer2 on Xmas 2019. I was really flashed.
And actually I continuously expand my musical horizon because I can just switch the drum sound from a ridiculously overprocessed metal sound to a warm, dry Jazz sound.
I really got nuts about MIDI, edrums, EZXs, SDXs, more drums pads and MIDI controller, DIY edrums etc.
Now, I ended up to try some live looping stuff in Ableton Live.
Thanks to all the guys putting so much love, expertise and efforts into those glorious drum sound libraries!

Hi, That's a Yamaha Subkick. It's there to capture the low frequencies of the Kick drum.

This is a sound library for EZdrummer 2 that also includes MIDI.

Hi, We have no plans on making an SDX based on the Gospel EZX recordings, but you can use it in Superior Drummer 3.
I expected a higher tuned snare.
Yeah, Calvin usually tunes his snares a bit higher to get a nice crack. That might be the only thing missing from this product, but I guess we'll see.
@@chuckshreds3108 +1 to you both! I was also surprised, but it's still GREAT sounding!
You can adjust the individual pitch of all drums, so once you are happy with your snare you could save the entire drumkit as one of your custom kits
