Allen has lived a interesting life to say the least. Beside a die hard survivalist mindset ….. well let’s just say the mind is clearly how we survive. Basically I feel calming yourself down, like don’t even go there there. Keep the one goal & keep that focus. I completely believe that’s what he did & I’m overjoyed he made it. I just was gripped at the thought & action of killing his dog. However I don’t know how desperate he felt but it was extreme. I can imagine it was horrible for Benedict and his goal was to survive & out of instinct he had to do it. A wife & I think three children come first here.
