      most of the Bikes didn't have abs like around a decade ago, you need to practice braking, it's a skill like any other, abs is just a failsafe in case you are a new rider, I reckon it won't matter much after you get familiar with the bike. And well people mostly use the front brakes so yea, rear abs is not that important, but it is a plus tho.

    Honda doesn't give needless features like liquid cooled engine because it is not required for this bike. Compression ratio is 1:9.5 and air cooled engine is enough for it.
    Dual Channel ABS, 6th gear and softer rear suspension could have made this bike a complete complete package. But then the price would go around 1.8L on road & at this price point people would go for yamahas without even thinking twice. Thats the problem with people.
    Homda should launch a motorcycle with 200 cc engine totall stylish body and all the above mentioned features and should keep it 10K cheaper than MT15/R15 it would be a tough competition for yamaha.

    ....honda has cleverly chosen the size of 185 cc , it gives u performance of a 200 cc and mileage of a 160 cc !!! Plus u have best in class :
    1. Engine.
    2. Refinement and smoothness. 😍
    3. Handling.
    4. Low maintenance requiring bike as it has a simple 2 valve air cooled engine which requires very less maintenance.
    5. Hazard lights.
    6. All led lights around.
    7. Special low noise chain which requires maintenance and cleaning only at 4500 kms ( other company bikes need it at every 500 to 1000 kms.)
    8. Now equipped with a slipper clutch for fatigue free ride and jerk free downshift.
    9. Best in class 0 to 80 kmph Sprint.
    10. Best in class mileage of 38 to 57 kmpl.
    11. Widest in class front tyre of 110mm.
    12. Golden usd forks.
    13. Premium components like nissin braking system and showa suspension .
    14. Best in class after sales support.
    15. Best in class looks😍😍
    16. Lightest in class at just 142 kg.
    Honda should have provided bluetooth connectivity with turn by turn navigation and better looking rear view mirrors !! My only complain. 😥😥😥

    • @ampassionstruck9138
      @ampassionstruck9138 Год назад +1

      @@humhaiihindustani3405 ...5 speed is better for this bike , given power is divided in 5 parts and hence u get better acceleration per gear here, its a city bike, 6 speed is meant for highways, top speed run and race track, u will always find 5 speed bikes acceleration better then a 6 speed. Single channel abs is more then sufficient as when u brake all the weight of the bike gets shifted on the front wheel and thus front abs is compulsory, rear tyre has not got much to do here, correct braking procedure is 70% front and 30% rear, Plus ! dual abs will also make the bike maintenance high as the rear sensor , censor plate and wire may get damaged increasing head ache.😥😥

    • @humhaiihindustani3405
      @humhaiihindustani3405 Год назад +2

      @@ampassionstruck9138 First gain some knowledge about gear ratios and then comment you comment is too dumb here.Power is never divided by the number of gears....😂😂 Who told you that if there were 6 gears the power would be divided in 6 parts? 6 gear is an extra gear specially made for cruising.....6th gear can be added without even disturbing the ratios of the other 5 gears( even if gear ratios are changed then it will get more torque in lower gears power would always increase and never decrease) & who says it's a city bike? It gets best of both the worlds and the same engine is used in CB200X which is a cruiser and offroader bike. I would anyday be ready to provide more maintenance to my bike if it gives me mental peace and safety and hence would have surely chosen dual channel ABS if was available. Safety is above everything even when applying 70 30 brakes, due to uneven terrain your bike can skid if ABS is not provided.
      If one doesn't accept their negative points then there is no chance of improvement so even if it is Honda who is compromising in some features then that needs to be acknowledged. Don't just blindly defend anything.

      @@humhaiihindustani3405 ...so u wanna say that honda the giant with the best of the best enginerring prows has done a wrong thing by giving 5 gears ?? They must be knowing more then u I guess !! In my view this bike only needs bluetooth connectivity and better more premium looking rear view mirrors like the ones available on the dominar, everything else is superb in this bike. ( and yes !! Its a basic mathematics that if u divide a given power and torque in 5 parts ( gears) then each of those 5 parts will have more performance then what u would get in 6 parts ( gears).😊😊...to make the matter more clear just consider the tvs rtr 200 4v and the bajaj ns200 , both have a 200 cc 4 valve engine but rtr has 5 gears and the ns has 6 gears , cos of 5 gears the rtr has better in gear acceleration and better 0 to 80 kmph sprint then the ns but since the ns has 6 gears it gives it better top speed and better highway performance.

      @@ampassionstruck9138 You are just disgusting yourself by making such comments 😂🤣 Power in a bike always remains same whether it is in 1st gear or 5th or 6th, Power never gets divided by the number of gears🤣 It's not class 4th maths which you can apply everywhere. What is the source of your statement " power gets divided into 6 parts because of 6 gears" I cannot stop laughing after reading this. Secondly talking about "Honda the giant" every company cuts off features as per the price point and cost cutting so that the customer attraction goes to higher models & do you really think that "Honda the giant" needs advice of a person like u with IQ of a 4th class child to give shape to their mirrors and provide gimmick feature like Bluetooth connectivity?? They obviously know more than you. Forget about everything, just bring me a single genuine source that states that power gets divided by the number of gears😂😂 I am waiting for it kid & Meanwhile study how an engine works and especially gearbox and the gear ratios.

    I have repsol edition 2021 feb registered... I bought it from my cousin .... When I start the bike in morning or after few hours initially it's rpms are going upto 2.5-3k but when the bike runs for 3-4 kms it comes back to around 1300 again after parking for 20 minutes and starting the bike it's rpm hits 2k .... Engine oil air filter everything is up to date.... What is this issue?

    • @ampassionstruck9138
      @ampassionstruck9138 Год назад +1

      Its normal man, when the engine cools down the bikes thermal sensor senses this and increses the rpms and when the engine reaches its operating temperature it sets the rpm at1300 rpm which is the ideal rpm for idle speed.😊😊

    Hornet repsol edition seems to be discontinued. I have tried 4-5 showroom and dealers are saying due to very less demand, honda has stopped production.
    Can anyone confirm if this true? I really wanted to buy but now i am looking for other options.

    100 effortlessly ? Your advice

      I have purchased hornet 2.0 2023 just 2 weeks ago. I am using it for 120 Kms daily commute. The bike is super comfortable, feels confident at 90 kmph and nearly 0 vibrations at 100 kmph( I wear biking gloves) so if you are tight on your budget then you may surely go for hornet. But keep in mind that 90 is a comfortable cruising speed for this bike.
