You do dupes videos so well, Risa! Being a makeup artist, you KNOW the real difference in response to color, consistency, level of coverage, etc. I love it when you do half high end and bargain beauty dupes on the other. Shows your knowledge base AND expertise. One thing I’ve learned from you, Emily Noel, and Lisa J is using less really is MORE! Now I realize why some of my choices don’t come out as well is I go in to hard so, for instance, on foundation then wonder why it looked chunky or patchy. One pump rather than a nickel size dollop is way better. I guess I think or don’t think that I still have enough for adequate coverage. With the pandemic, I gave up on makeup since I’m more home bound. Now with things changing in my life, I’m going to start back to what I call my “glam” which is most others natural look. Somehow, unless you are working outside the home or just NEED to wear makeup, I’ve realized to love myself totally “blank canvased”. Whereas before, I’d NEVER leave the house without some base product, blush, lipstick, brows. I’ve been legally blind since 2012. I was an RN getting my masters when I lost my remaining eyesight. I was working perfectly well with one eye for 30 years (almost to the day). So I’ve learned not only to love the limits to which I can work with (makeup wise). Obviously I can’t work as an RN, but I can re-teach myself to put on makeup using technology and hugely magnified mirrors. I tell you this, because I want you and people to know it can be done. You also have to trust your friends, family, husband to let you know if you’ve over or underdone a product. Thanks for the bang on dupes and the confidence to wear both high end and dupe at the same time! I would love to see eye palette dupes. I’m sure you’ve done them but it helps me be able to SEE what in the palettes would go together. ❤️❤️❤️ that last alternative-using spiking hair gel for brow gel. I have very sparse eyebrows and very pale. Who knew? Thanks again for a wonderful useful video! 💜💄💜

My favorite Milani baked blushes are Rose D'oro, Luminoso, Coralina, and Berry Amore. These are so beautiful on dark and deep skin tones. I love blushes with a little radiance/sheen to them but not glitter. All of these look soooooooooo pretty!!!!

I got one of the Chanel liquid lipsticks yesterday and wore it to work. I’m a nurse so I work 12 hour shifts and wear a mask for most of that time. At the end of my shift that lipstick was still on even after eating and drinking. I’m always thirsty so I’m constantly drinking. I’ve never been so impressed in my life and it was so worth the money. I can’t get anywhere near that kind of wear time with the Maybelline ones but I do like them and I understand $38 for a lipstick isn’t in everybody’s budget so it’s great that you recommended a much cheaper alternative. I can’t remember if it was you or Stephanie Marie that recommended the No 7 lift and luminate powder as a dupe for the CT powder but omg it’s sooo good and I much prefer it to the CT powder.
I have been on the fence about purchasing the Chanel Liquid Lipstick, as a fellow nurse I have been on the look-out for a product that will last with long time mask wearing. So glad this worked well for you. Stay safe!

Neutrogena Healthy Volume mascara is my favorite! I keep trying other ones and keep going back. It gives such great volume without clumping and builds up so much!

When you mix the shades of the Maybelline Superstay matte ink, how do you do it? I have tried with a lip brush on the back of my hand but I find it dries too fast, I have tried putting one then the other on the lips but they're too pigmented and just cover each other up. Would love to know your process, thank you!

I've been using that Got2B glue in my brows for a little over a year. I love it. I saw someone mention it on RUclips and have been hooked on it ever since. It's amazing what we find to use as makeup!
I also bought the Got2B glue. I don't know how to apply it correctly because mine didn't turn out the way it did on other people's eyebrows in the tutorials? If you don't mind could you tell me how do you apply the glue to your eyebrows?
@@sabrinaanderson5741 Hi! I put a tiny bit on a spooly on the end and wipe off the excess. Then I just brush it through. I wait for it to dry then put eyebrow pencil or powder on. I then go through it again with a spooly if it looks too goopy and get rid of chunks! Hope that helps. I wish I knew the video I saw that showed it but it was a long time ago!

I had given up on foundation & concealer until I saw your video on the easy tip on concealer you just recently posted....OMGosh!! A miracle!😂😂😂😂! It works so well!! Those Maybelline Matte Inks are NO joke! I grabbed one for my own personal use and after using it went back to get more for my kit *as luck would have it, the Walgreens was shutting down so I was able to purchase them on clearance so I got EVERY shade! They're THAT GOOD! I'm almost out of my own shade because I use it almost daily for lips, cream blush and sometimes as a base for a more intense eye look💞

Risa, I'm a winter, recently gone cool beige blonde. Your makeup looks great on you, but can you give us winters some good recommendations in cool rosy-plum shades? Anything peach/ coral does not work w/ winter skin tones. Thank you!!
Those Maybelline Matte Inks are NO joke! I grabbed one for my own personal use and after using it went back to get more for my kit *as luck would have it, the Walgreens was shutting down so I was able to purchase them on clearance so I got EVERY shade! They're THAT GOOD! I'm almost out of my own shade because I use it almost daily for lips, cream blush and sometimes as a base for a more intense eye look💞
